Niall's P.O.V:
I watched as her body fell to the floor, limp and lifeless.
"No!" I screamed, running towards her, trying to catch her before she made full impact with the floor. Unfortunately, I did not catch her in time and her head made hard contact with the concrete ground. Blood was trickling out of the back of her head and I knew that wasn't a good sign. Ripping off parts of my polo, I placed a piece on her bullet wound, which was close, but not close enough to kill her, to her heart, and another piece on the back of her head
Hoisting her up, I indicated to the boys to dial triple 0, before running out the door, up the stairs and out the door leading into the hot and humid weather. Only a gentle breeze was blowing and I thought that if Maya weren't in trouble now, he would fulfill his promise to her. But for now he will have to wait.
Hearing the sound of distant sirens, My heartbeat quickened as Maya's face lost all the colour she had in it.
'Please don't leave me Maya, I love you' I thought, unaware that I had said that aloud. Feeling a hand placed gently on my shoulder, I looked up to see Harry looking at me through tears in his eyes.
