Goodbyes

Taehyung hugged him tighter.

Tae -"Nothing... Nothing is Ok baby..I-I'm a really bad boyfriend. Please forgive me. "

Yoongi -"W-what are you even..? "

Taehyung broke the hug and looked straight into yoongi's eyes. He sighed.

Tae - "Look. I wanted to keep this a secret from you but... There's not much time left. And I think you need to know this. "

Yoongi -"Not much time left? Tae! Just what the hell is happening?!

Tae -"Yoongi.... I.. I have cancer. Stage 4. I got diagnosed a year ago and had treatment. But it's just getting worse. "

Tears started streaming down Yoongi's eyes. He just kept looking at the floor trying to hide his tears.

Yoongi - "Why are you telling me this now??  What was going on in...your head? "

Tae -"I'm really sorry Yoongiah... I'm sorry I lied to you. I didn't want to hurt you, see you sad and worried because of me. "

Yoongi - "Are you crazy?? I'd rather spend my life worrying about you than let you suffer alone!!"

Tae -"Sorry...I- I'm sorry..."

Taehyung again hugged yoongi and started crying.

Yoongi -"I'm sorry that I left you. I shouldn't have.. "

Tae - "No. I made it look like that. That's why you left. It's not your fault.. "

They kept hugging eachother for a minute. Then they looked into each other's eyes. Taehyung leaned closer to yoongi. They can feel each other's breath on their face.

Hobi - "Yoongiah!! Are you inside? Min Yoongi!!??"

Yoongi pulled away and opened the door.

Hobi - "You were here all this time? You know I searched the whole hospital because of you? And you're... "

Hobi looked inside and taehyung was standing there. He came out of the room.

Tae - "See you yoongi.. "

Yoongi held taehyung's hand and said, "You're not going anywhere. We need to talk. Now. "

Hobi - "Sorry to inturupt but may I know what's going on? Why is he wearing patient's cloth? And are you still fighting over the breakup? "

Tae -"Let's go to my room first. "

They walked to the room Taehyung was admitted at. Taehyung told everything to Yoongi. How he got his treatments and kept it all a secret. He asked Hoseok to take care of Yoongi after he's gone.
He started crying after listening to Taehyung. Hobi was also holding back tears but couldn't keep it. After talking out everything, Yoongi decided to visit Tae everyday and take care of his meds from the next day.

After talking a little more yoongi and Hobi decided to go back home for the day. On the entrance/exit, Hoseok stopped and said, "I'll be back. I forgot something. " Yoongi stood there confused.

He ran towards Taehyung's room and opened the door. Taehyung was startled by Hoseok's sudden appearance.

Taehyung -"Woah...What makes you run like this?"

Hobi entered the room and sat near Taehyung. He lowered his face looking at the ground.

Hobi - "I have something important to tell you. "

Hobi looks up.

Hobi - "I'm sorry but I don't think I should take care of yoongi after you're... Gone. "

Taehyung -"Why do you think so? "

Hobi - "Be...Because.. I love him! I love Yoongi. Since high school. But there was some situation because of which I couldn't tell him. Later I got to know he had a boyfriend So I just decided not become a bother for him. "

Taehyung - "Is that so?"

Hobi -"Yes. And I don't think you'd like to see your boyfriend with someone else... "

Taehyung - "Hoseok... Take care of Yoongi. You're the only one who can do it. I think you're the best for him. Love him more than I did. "

Hobi - "But how? He loves you."

Tae -"I want him to live a happy life even though I won't be there. And you...you've known & loved him for a long time. I hope you'll shower him with your love and care."

Hobi started crying again thinking about how painful it must be for Taehyung. For Yoongi to be in this kind of situation.

Then he wiped his tears and showed a sad smile to Taehyung.

Hobi - "Don't worry Taehyung. I'll show the Best of Me for Yoongi. "

Taehyung -"That sounds more like it. Now go, he must be waiting. You might end up in slices if you make him angry."

Hobi and Taehyung both chuckled at that statement. Hobi said bye to Taehyung and left. Yoongi was indeed waiting for him at the entrance. Luckily Hobi didn't get scolded.

After that day both Hobi and Yoongi came to visit Taehyung at the Hospital. Hobi also changed the timing of his dance classes a little bit. The others also eventually found out about Taehyung's health. They too were really upset to hear the news.
