"Shooting Star!"
A tall blonde walked through the shadows, spying a young girl quickly sprint behind some trees. "Star, its really not safe for you out here!"
The worry was evident in his voice as he quickened his pace. "Mabel, please!" He begged after hearing nothing but silence. That's when he heard a small sigh not to far from himself. "Shooting st-!"
"Go away Bill."
He ran to the girl and clasped her cold hands in his gloved ones. "Star, please." He spoke quietly. Mabel pulled her hands out of his grip and walked away from him. "I'm sorry!" Bill said desperately, going to stand by her. She still didn't look at him as the night air blew, making her shiver. She sat down, her long hair tangling with the dirt as it became windswept. Bill took off his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders, sitting by her. They didn't speak for a few minutes. "What's the brightest star you see?" Bill asked nervously, trying to break the tense silence. Mabel thought for a second before she smiled very slightly.
"It's me."
They both laughed and the blonde sheepishly grabbed the brunette's hand. She squeezed it before laying onto his chest.
Everything seemed to be forgotten

(Soooo. I dunno, I came up with in five minutes over the dinner table, it wasn't very planned out and its probably not my best :\ oh well, I hope you enjoyed! ~ K)
