[Three days Before Coronation]
A kingdom surrounded by trees and magic seems like it would be the safest place to be. It's my safest place to be.
Tall trees flow with the warm soft breeze. The summer sun shining down on a large kingdom. The trees hug the kingdom as if to protect it from being seen, or harmed. In the citizen district, streets are bustling with people. Men, women, kids. Young and old. Conversations went on as kids played hide and seek.
A few miles down the road is a large glowing black and red gate. As the trail goes on, it leads up to a glowing red castle. A couple of guards posted at the doors. Inside the foyer, there's two rows of white columns, draped with red lace curtains. The columns lead into the throne room, where currently I sit with the Queen and King.
"Aesira, you need to sit through these," The Queen, my mother, explained to me.
"I know, I know. I need to listen to the problems that go on outside of the castle gates. But it's past lunch time, and I had plans with Thrya," The King, Sindri, my father, chuckles.
"Let her go with Thrya, sweetheart. We have a coronation to plan," Mother sighs and nods.
"Go on, Aesira. Don't be out too late," I grin and head out of the throne room.
I walk out into the courtyard, there are people mingling. In a corner is a dark brunette woman. Her hazel eyes search among the people in the courtyard until they land on me. A gentle smile sweeps across her face.
"Aes!" She strides over to me as I meet her half way.
"It's about time! I've been waiting for hours," We both laugh at her over exaggeration.
"Let's go eat,"
After lunch, Thrya and I make our way to my private garden.
"You've done a really great job with the garden," She mentions as I tend some lilac flowers.
"It's not just me. It helps when Nocturne and Nightstorm don't wrestle in the flowers anymore,"
Thrya giggles as we walk further into the garden.
"You are in denial,"
"No, I'm not,"
Thrya and I come up on a large clearing surrounded by trees to find a large direwolf and a large dragon.
"Yes, you are. You're going to need a pack if you want to protect the kingdom," The direwolf growls.
"I don't need a pack. I can protect it myself,"
The dragon chuckles. I clear my throat. The direwolf's scowl fades quickly.
"Aesira! Thrya!" Thrya giggles as the wolf comes running to them.
"Hi, Nightstorm," Thrya gently pets his muzzle.
"Princess, aren't you supposed to be in the throne room?" The dragon asks.
"I'm taking a break, Nocturne. Mother and Father said it was alright," Nocturne chuckles. "Alright. What are you ladies up to now?" He asks.
"Well, Thrya and I just finished lunch and wanted to take a walk in the garden. Glad to see you guys haven't rolled over to the flowers," I beam at both of them.
"We've found a new place to do that," Nightstorm states, gesturing to the clearing.
"Good. Just don't kill my trees," I reach up to pet them both.
"I love you both. And Nightstorm... you should find a pack,"
Nightstorm narrows his eyes at me.
"Hey!"
