Haxel's POV :
Help him I don't know how to help him were just strangers who happened to meet and I was just trying to do a good deed " So you don't wanna go home or to the police are you sure you don't have any family? " I ask him making sure that It's alright to take him with me " I'm sure " he says so I help him up and walk with him to my car " Hey Jamie please go straight to the house and hold any work or calls I have for later " I tell Jamie my driver but also he's my best friend "Alright" He says as he rolls up the window the is in between the both of us .
once we arrive to me house The little one Is already asleep so I pick him up and bring him into the house.
I lay him down In the guest bedroom and I leave him to rest but later I will definitely let him have bath and we'll talk. But while he rest's I'll go get some work done.
Sage POV :
I wake up to the smell of cinnamon and oh god It smells good I lift my head up and look around very much confused about where I am everything is such a blur. I get up and check my surroundings until I here the door open and I try to run and hide but before I can he saw me this face looks very familiar but I can't remember where I saw him. " Are you ok Little guy? " He asks me I don't know why but I feel my face get very warm at the nickname " Who are yo-you and where am I ? " I curse at myself for stuttering " calm down you don't you remember everything that happened at the store? " He asked.
And then It hits me I can't believe I didn't even remember the person who helped me when I was on the brick of death " Oh I do remember I'm sorry that you had to deal with that " I apologies I did feel bad this man looks very important looks like he's very busy " No no Little guy It's ok are you hungry by any chance if so I can whip you up something? " He asks me " No I'm ok " I say "ok do you want to take a bath maybe? " I knew he right I haven't took a bath in months "yes please" I say then he nods and grabs ahold of my hand shows me where the bath room is.
" Ok bathe and I will leave your clothes in the room and come to my office when your done It's just to the left and then two doors down ok? " I don't think I'll remember all of that but I'll try I nod my head in the way of saying yes I understand " alright then " Is all he says before walking out.
I wash my body off using some random shampoo I found in the bathroom and It smells great It smells just strawberry kinda like the man smells of and now I just remembered that we never said our names to each other.
After my shower I come out of that bathroom in a towel and see the outfit on the bed and to tell you It's mot much It's just a pair of boxers and a shirt but It's better then nothing I put the clothes on and walk out the room and oh Is this house big there's so many doors everywhere well I better get looking I'm pretty sure he said left two doors down?
" I think this is the room " I whisper to myself as I knock " come in " I hear from the inside so I twist the nob and come in to see him " Oh good It's you we need to talk little one " he says to me pointing to the seat next to him this is a pretty big office " Okay " I say and sit on the couch he was pointing to.
" so let's get talking what's your name and how old hm? " he says to me " I'm Sage and I'm 17 you? " " Haxel 19 your pretty young to be outside like that where are your parents love " these nicknames are gonna be the death of I swear " I don't wanna talk about it ".
" Okay that's fine you don't have to " He takes a pause " How about this you stay with me until you figure out your situation and if you need to talk please talk to me " he says grabbing my wrists with a gentil smile his smile is so pretty I love it. " you alright there little one? " he says snapping me out of my daze " Yea I'm sorry " I can't help but blush.
" Don't worry I'll take care of you "
