Luana's decision to intoxicate William wasn't born out of desperation. It was malice. She knew all too well about his severe strawberry allergy, and instead of avoiding it, she planned to use it as her weapon.

She wanted him gone, dead if possible. Her hatred ran deep, and tonight, she planned to make sure their marriage ended in tragedy.

She bought a large amount of strawberries the day before her wedding, and consumed a good quantity of them the night and the morning of her wedding.

With precise calculation, Luana crafted a strawberry-puree lipstick, mixed with a toxic substance.

It was potent, designed to trigger a violent allergic reaction, and potentially fatal.

She smeared it on her lips, knowing he'd fall for the trap.

A kiss would seal his fate.

During the wedding festivities, she played her role perfectly. William, none the wiser, leaned in for a kiss.

Within two hours, the reaction hit him hard. His chest tightened, his breath labored as hives spread across his skin. Watching him struggle, Luana couldn't help but smile.

At the hospital...

William's eyes fluttered open, his head pounding. Diego hovered over him with a worried look.

"What happened?" William rasped.

"You had an allergic reaction to strawberries," Diego replied, offering him a glass of water.

"Strawberries? How the hell did that happen?" William sat up.

"I don't know. All I know is that you collapsed shortly while Luana was dancing. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to get to you sooner. I should have realized what was happening."

"Luana," He growled.

Diego blinked twice, "Luana?"

"She is behind this."

"I knew it! But how?" He asked.

"Her lips... The kisses... The taste..."

"She used a strawberry lipstick, didn't she?" Diego said, a note of disbelief. "That's some dark brilliance."

"Are you complimenting her in front of me? I was about to die."

"No, no, didn't mean to." He chuckled sheepishly.

"Who else knows that it's an allergy reaction?"

"Just our family."

"Great! I'm done playing nice. Where is she?"

"Playing the concerned wife in front of your guests."

"Not for long. I have to go and wipe her tears then."

"I'll grab tissues!"

Henry entered the room and rushed to his son's side.  "How are you feeling?"

"I am good!"

He looked at him with a stern expression and said, "It looks like you had strawberries. That was a very childish thing to use to stop your wedding. What were you thinking? I thought you were better than this, William."

Will's gaze was pure ice. "I don't care what you think."

Without another glance, he walked out with Diego following closely.

When he entered the house, voices from the living room echoed through the halls.

"You intoxicated him?" Fredrick was pacing back and forth in frustration.
