I still remember meeting Robert for the first time, it was at the most odd place you could think of at least to me it was. I was standing at the bus stop waiting to catch my bus to get home, tired from my classes at my college. I was just waiting and minding my own business and listening to my music on my phone. When I noticed a man he looked like he was in his early 20s, he had pale skin that glowed in an alluring way and his eyes were piercing green. The thing that most intrigued me about him was how he was wearing what looked a very expensive suit but was walking a dog. The dog was the cutest I've ever seen it was a pug and was adorable all smushed up like a Tootsie Roll. That was until it bit my leg, which hurt like a bitch. I screamed out in pain of course and cursed the cute little piece of shit.
"Fuck" said Robert.
"I'm so sorry, it's the first he's ever done that do you want me to take you to a hospital or something? Um...?" said Robert.
"I'm Nina" I remembered saying while in an amount of immense pain.
"If you don't mind I think now is a good time for me to go and try not to die from this incident" I said.
I was walking away once I said that or more like limping very slowly away from this unknown man and his cute viscous monster.
"Wait!" he said.
"What do you want now umm...what's your name?" I said.
"Lake, I'm Robert Lake" Robert said.
"Okay Robert Lake I would like not to die at the age of 22 from a dog biting me so if you will excuse me" I said.
I may have been overreacting but I was in a lot of pain and who knew if I didn't have rabies or something. I needed to go to the hospital or a doctor to get checked out.
"Well I can take you where you wanna go, to not die if you want since if looks like you're having trouble "walking" to your destination" Robert said.
"I guess that's the least you could do for me since your damned cute shit of a dog bit me" I said.
"Okay then let's go shall we?" Robert said.
"Okay let's go to the E.R because I'm pretty sure I need stitches" I said.
And that's how's our story begins.
