**niall pov**

It was a day at the beach, just me and Liam. I kinda liked it that way because I had him all to myself. I don't even know was I was thinking, I already had a girlfriend but I still had feelings for Liam. I've kinda had a crush on him since x-factor, but has gone away till now.

I watched from the shallow part of the beach while he was trying to show me how to surf.

"Why don't you give it a try Niller?" He shouted. I sighed " I still don't get it" I shouted back.

I watched him as he swam toward me. "All you'll get the hang of it niall." His deep voice giving me chills down my back. "Here I'll show you." He said. He laid down on the boards and instructed me to do the same. I immediately fall off sending me in the water, I started to choke and felt hands grabbing at my arms. "Niall! Niall are you ok?" He asked sounding concerned. I frowned as I caught my breath. "Yeah ill be fine." He slumps his arm around me as we walked up to the shore. Chills. Again as he wrapped he arm around my shoulder. Not bad chills, I liked them. Wait what am I thinking! No! I had a girlfriend! Besides he doesn't have feelings for me anyways. We got back to the car and gave me a big hug.

"You did good today Niller." He stated I could feel his warm breath on my neck.

"Thanks mate you too." I sighed. He knew something was up.

"What's wrong? You've been like this ever since we got here. Are your ok?" He asked with worry in his voice

"Yeah I'm just tired that's all." I lied and shyly smiled at him.

We got back to the flat. we all shared it so management knew where to find us. and Harry and Louis were chasing each other, like always and Zayn was on the couch.

"Hello mates how was your day?" He asked.

"It was great best watein a while." I herd Liam say from behind me.

"Im going to take a shower and get ready for tonight." I almost forgot my date with Brooke.

When I get to the top of the stairs I run to my bathroom, shut the door and slid down to the ground. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm dating Brooke but I have feelings for Liam. I tried to shake it off and jumped in the shower letting the droplets rain down on me. Quickly got dressed the best I could, then jumped down the stairs to the front door.

"Have a good night, don't come back too late!" Liam stated.

"I'll be back soon don't worry" I yelled back.

I jumped in the car and headed to the restaurant to meet Brooke for our date. I pulled out my phone at the stop light and texted her.

Niall: I'll be there in ten minutes running late. Xx

Brooke: Okay. Ill see you soon babe. Love you X

Niall: Love you too xx

## Liam pov##

As soon as niall left and door shut I got up and went to my room. I ran into the en suite and ran my face under cold water. 'I can't like niall he's like my brother!' I thought to myself. I go back to earlier how when I hugged him. I felt something different, like nothing before. The way my head fit into the crook of his neck so perfectly. How his bright blue eyes sparkled in the su..! No! Bad Liam! You can't like Niall he's your best friend! What if he doesn't like me back? i cant risk that! But what if he does? I go over to my bed and stare at the ceiling just thinking. I hear a knock.

"Come in" I yell.

"Hey the boys wanted me to make sure your ok." Zayn smiled at me.

"Yeah ill be fine I guess." I said back almost right away.

Ok, we'll come down soon were gonna eat Harry's cooking."

I'm not really hungry but ill be down later" I stated.

"Ok see ya soon" he closed the door behind him

I thought about it for a bit. I knew what my mind was set on. I was in love with Niall James Hroan. My best friend.
