Chapter 2: On Set

Third person perspective

The bright sunlight peaked through the curtains of Sidney's room, shining a bright light right on to her face waking her up.

She covered herself with her bed sheets, avoiding the sunlight trying to go back to sleep but as soon as she did. Her thoughts came back into play reminding her, that she had planed on visiting Roman today, so with Roman back on her mind she got out of bed and started doing her regular morning routine.

Sidney's POV

After finishing my morning run and feeding
Cherokee, I got ready to go visit Roman on the set of his new movie since he's the director and all.

On my drive there I was very impatient to figure out the true about my mother and her past, but on the other hand I also wanted to know more about Roman and what he's been up to in the last couple years.

Few moments later

Finally arriving to the set, I see a lot of security guards everywhere and people running around doing what they're supposed to do. Until I see Roman taking with a group of people, which I assume are the producers of film.

I decided to stand here and wait until he was done with his little meeting.

Roman POV

I'm currently arguing with some of the
producers on the set of my movie since one of are cast members was murdered the other day and now they're trying convince me on canceling the movie.

Roman : if your worried about the movie then protect the movie, hire more security, hired the natural guard, just don't kill the movie

Producer 1 : violates and cinema are a big deal right now Roman, this is not the kind of news the studio is after.

Roman: so what, if we just stop making horror movies all psychopaths in the world will retire, come on

Producer 2 : i made movies for 30 years never once had a psycho problem

Roman: He was your idea guys, an Ex-con with a trashy talk show. He must have pissed people off everyday.

[Roman's mind: This is great, this is just great, All I ever wanted to do was make a real classic love story and now these assholes want me to shut it down, that is not happening]

Producer 3 : Roman!

Roman : what is it now

Product 3 : look who it is...it's Sidney Prescott

I looked at him confused and then turned around to see..

Roman: Sidney?

I was in shock, why was she here?, did she find out about the murder? Or am I just dreaming.

She smiled and gave me a small wave

This is definitely not a dream!!

Roman: I'll be right back..I just- need a minute

i leave the group of producers behind and made my towards Sidney to ask her why she was here

Sidney's POV

Sidney: Hey

Roman: Hey, what are you um.. what are you doing here?

Sidney: I think we should talk

Roman: about?

Sidney: about what we talked about yesterday with my mother's past

Roman: oh, yeah..right.. how about we go somewhere more private

I nodded and made are way to his office

Few moments later

Now I'm in his office, waiting for him to come back after he said he needed to step out real quick

I look around his office and see a lot of props from the movie and many scripts on his desk, i take a seat and wait for him

I see the door slowly open revealing Roman with two cups of coffee and a folder

I thanked him for the beverage and then he started to talk

Roman: So Sidney, what do I owe the pleasure for your sudden appearance

Sidney: I want to know more about my mother and....I also want to know why you suddenly felt the urge to reach out to me after all this time

I saw Roman look down and sigh,
He passed me the folder and started talking
While I read through the folder

Roman: There's not much more to talk about, I mean everything I said to you was all that I know of.

(Roman still not telling her the whole truth)

Roman: and for why I suddenly decided to reach out was because-

Sidney looks up once he started to talk about himself

Roman: was because back then I couldn't... due to your mother

Sidney: what do you mean because of my mother?

One sad story later

I couldn't believe what Roman just told me, he said that he was able to tracked down mom a few years ago and how she wanted nothing to do with him leaving him all alone forever.

I felt really bad for him not only did my mother abandon her own child but she kept him away from me for so long, I know for a fact that I would have gladly accepted Roman as my brother once I got to know him.

I didn't know what to say, I sat there thinking about what to say but nothing came up, so I got up from my seat and went towards him and gave him a big hug.

I don't know why but as soon as I hugged him all I heard from him were small sobs of sadness and that broke me, all this time he just wanted a family but was shut out by our mother.

Are moment was cut off by a staff member coming in alerting us that some was just...MURDERED!!!

We both quickly made are way to the crime scene seeing a woman dead through a door window surrounded by police officers

One of the police officer stopped us from getting any closer to the crime scene saying that they're trying to find any evidence possible to figure out who did this, but I knew, I knew who did this, it's all happening again.

He's back
