Chapter 8

It's been a few weeks since the last incident between the 4 as it's a new semester in school, Sky and Rain have not seen or even talked to each other. Rain had talked his teacher into moving his desk somewhere else in the classroom away from Sky.
      When they're paired into groups, they don't even socialize as they use the other group partners to communicate with each other without even talking to each other.
      They're friends were getting worried as one chimed in, "I'm really getting tired of having to confirm things in the project for you guys. Can't you two just talk to each other about it instead of using us?"
     They both just shook their heads as a no without even glancing at each other as Sig had moved in closer to Sky, "Why can't you guys just talk things out? It's been how long now? Stop using us in y'all's lovers quarrel and figure it out."
       Him and the other 2 who was also assigned to the group project all agreed as they all had packed up their things before taking off out of the library leaving Sky and Rain alone.
      

Sky's POV

          I secretly looked up at him as my heart hurts just looking at him, but I couldn't take my eyes away. He's done nothing but avoided me, and won't even let alone look at me.
        "How am I going to tell P'Pai that I have feelings for Rain?" I thought to myself as I had looked back down at my papers as I noticed that I've written nothing on the paper but Rain's name over and over again.
       I sighed to myself as I'm still stunned at how I wound up in this mess falling for my best friend when I already had an amazing boyfriend to begin with.
        "Did I have unknown feelings for Rain that I was unaware about?" My thoughts just kept running through my mind until I was pulled out of my thoughts of a book closing.
         "I'm leaving." He said as he had started packing up his things.
        That was the first time he talked to me in weeks…
        "Rain, wait…I…" I didn't even finish as he had put his backpack over his shoulder walking out of the library.
         I sat there in silence as I had no idea on how I'm going to straighten this mess out.

Author's POV

        "I'm so sick and tired of you two drunken ass men." Saifah said as he had plopped Prapai down on the couch by a drunken Phayu.
        "I can't do this. Y'all can fend for yourselves. I'm leaving" Saifah had said before walking out the door leaving the two drunken friends alone.

         Phayu had sat up as chuckling as he had leaned over leaning all up against Prapai wrapping his arms around him.
      "Mmm, Rain." He said as Prapai groaned before pushing Phayu off of him.
      "I'm not Rain! Don't mention him in front of me." He said before stumbling his way off the couch as Phayu had lifted his hand grabbing a hold of Prapai's hand pulling him back down onto the couch wrapping his arms around him.
       "Rain, don't leave." Phayu said as Prapai tried pushing himself up away from Phayu as he had just held onto him tighter.
       "I'm not going to say it again, I'm not Rain damnit!" He yelled as Phayu had grabbed Prapai's face before drunkenly looking at him with tears in his eyes before pulling Prapai close to him and kissing him.
      Prapai was confused as he was stunned trying to pry Phayu off but failed as Phayu had pushed Prapai down on the couch hovering over him.
      "Phayu, open your eyes and look at who's in front of you! It's your friend, Prapai. Not Rain!" He tried reasoning with him when Phayu had just lowered his head down on Prapai's shoulder crying.
       Prapai laid there for a good few minutes letting Phayu get his crying out before Phayu had looked up at Prapai forcing a smile on his face.
       "Thanks, Pai. And I'm sorry." Phayu said as he was about to get up off of Prapai, but he stopped him.
        "P..Prapai what are you doing?" Phayu asked in confusion.
         "I didn't say that we couldn't do it." Prapai said with a smirk before getting up, pushing Phayu onto the couch with himself hovering over him.
        "Now that you know who you're with…" as he leaned down to kiss him but Phayu stopped him.
        "We can't do this, Pai. We're both intoxicated. It's just wrong."
          Prapai had leaned back up looking at Phayu in a way that Phayu has never seen before.
          "Why not? We're friends. We can try something new. It can be no strings attached. It could be a way to numb the pain. It could be whatever you think it could be. We can even forget about it later. Let's just…"
       "Nevermind, I'm sorry. This is ridiculous." Prapai said as he was about to get up as Phayu stopped him.
       "Just once. Then let's forget about it." Phayu said before grabbing Prapai by the neck, pulling him and kissing him.
       Not long after, both of their clothes were spalled out across the room. Prapai hovering over Phayu as he leaned down kissing and sucking on his neck before making his way to his nipples.
