"Where's Robin?", Starfire asked while frantically pacing around the room. It had been a day since Robin left the tower to deal with his "own business." "I'm sure he'll come back soon. Perhaps he ran into some trouble and decided to stop a villain.", Cyborg suggested. "But if that was the case, wouldn't he have alerted us? Cyborg chuckled, "Oh, Star, you know Robin." He was right, Starfire indeed knew Robin. Robin always was impulsive when it came to battle. If there was trouble, he'd try to stop it himself. Starfire tried to stay positive, assuring herself that Robin was okay. She loved Robin so she had the right to worry if he was safe. A loud alarm unexpectedly went off at the tower. Cyborg, Robin's second in command, shouted "Trouble!" The titans gathered around at the big screen to check out the location of their villain. The docks. When the titans arrived they came face to face with an old foe, the fearsome Red X. "Hello titans. Without your leader today?", Red X mocked them. Did Red X harm Robin? Starfire thought to herself. She reacted on her impulses and immediately shot a starbolt at Red X but he dodged. Cyborg pointed at Red X. "Titans go!" Red X effortlessly beat the titans, avoiding Starfire as he fought. Red X suddenly looked at Starfire. "You're the one I want." He said as he grabbed her and teleported away. "Star!", Beast Boy called.
"Hey, princess.", Red X pinched Starfire's chin. "You are looking pretty, today." Starfire ignored every word Red X said, only focusing on the most important topic. "Where is Robin?", she demanded. "Trust me, I have nothing to do with your leader's disappearance." Starfire didn't trust the thief. Red X reached for the teleport button on his belt but Starfire quickly blasted him and followed with a volley of starbolts. Red X was knocked back for a while. "You will tell me where Robin is!" Footsteps echoed throughout the warehouse. This time it wasn't Red X. Maybe it was Robin, coming to help her deal with Red X. Maybe it was the Titans, who had finally tracked her location. Starfire tried to observe where the footsteps were coming from, leaving Red X a chance to escape. That's exactly what Red X did. Starfire heard Red X click a button and spun around only to find that Red X had already escaped. Distracted, an unidentified figure shot a firearm at her back. "Ugh…" Starfire held her back as she fell to the floor. "Who are…" She stopped mid-sentence. Robin's R emblem was in the hands of her attacker. This was the person who was responsible for Robin's disappearance, maybe even death, and soon to be responsible for her own demise.
