Kageyama Tobio.

You've been good, busier than ever. Your guard is up and I know why.

The raven haired setter watched from across the hallway as [Y/N] chatted with some of her friends, looking as if their breakup didnt bothered her at all.

It's been exactly three weeks ever since he broke up with her. It was a big mistake of his that left his heart empty in return.

I gave you roses, and you left them there to die.

He gathered up the courage and decided to approach her, clearing his throat to get her attention - and he did. For a moment there, when [Y/N] saw him, he saw sadness flicker in her eyes.

"Tobio.. it's been a while." When his name slipped past her lips, his heart almost skipped a beat.

So this is me swallowing my pride, standing infront of you saying I'm sorry for that night.

Her angelic voice rang through his ears, and he felt at ease. His lips immediately curved into a deep frown, his brows knitting into a crease. "You know.. You know I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry, [Y/N]. I'm really sorry."

[Y/N] didn't reply, a pained expression now evident from her facade as she fought back the tears that threatened to spill. She didn't want to break down infront of him.. not now.

"Say something - anything, please." He pleaded.

You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye.

Thankfully, the bell rang which startled [Y/N]. She managed a fake smile and bit down on her bottom lip, averting his gaze as much as possible.

"I-I'm sorry, Tobio. I have.. to go. It was nice talking to you, again. Goodbye."

And with that, she left.

She left him with a heart that can only be mended by her.

Tobio continued to stand there, his fists tightly clenched. He wasnt mad at [Y/N]. He was mad at himself. It did hurt him alot - it hurt him a lot because she mattered.

She meant the whole world to him and he let her slip past his fingers.

....and I'd go back to December, all the time.
