Ever since last week he's been constantly driving me up the wall. Popping out of bushes on my way home, "can you teach me how to cook?". When I walk the dog, "I will pay for the ingredients." When I walk to my classes, "please teach me how to cook, I will not disappoint." To be honest, it wasn't him asking me every second on whether or not I could teach him. It was what people would say soon after noticing he even acknowledged my presence. "MAY WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME EVAN PARKER WAS MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU?" I spat out my water, "Evan and I are madly in love?", Mel placed her hands on her cheeks and stared into my eyes with such interest although it was from a dumb rumor, "with each other." Apart of me hated knowing I had to tell her my love life was just some random rumor created by people who don't know how to pronounce Arkansas correctly or don't know what an aglet is, "Melody, me and Evan are-" Evan popped into the seat next to me. "When do you want me to go to your house today?" This was one of those moments where I felt like I was a small mouse trying to avoid several cheese traps except my tail had a mind of it's own, "never show up. I don't even know you. never show up to this table again or you will be cooked." Evan looked spaced out, "I will show up at four." I wanted to scream but my tail was caught, "No, I don't want you showing u-" in the corner of my eye, Melody had her jaw touching her lap. "YOU GUYS ARE SO GOING TO GET MARRIED AHHHHH" After school I found myself with Evan Parker in my kitchen wearing a pink apron, "is that yours?" he nodded, I guess he likes the color pink. I laid out the instructions in front of him and asked if he knew anything. We started with simple stuff like pancakes and eggs. "Do you know a guy named Cristian Stauber?" I shook my head "no". He placed he whisk down and came close to me and leaned in close, "please never associate with him if given the chance." He smelled like rich cinnamon mixed with a slight scent of citrus. I felt my face flush, he was too close. "Can we just continue with this session so you can leave me alone?" he nodded and prepared everything I told him. "Okay, just place this in the oven and once this timer goes off you'll need to take it out and turn the oven off." he nodded. After a few minutes I forgot I had to give my younger brother Gabe a bath. "Don't forget what I told you." As I finished, smoke filled the air. "EVAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" he was holding a steamed filled tray of burnt cookies. "The oven is off.", this is not what I wanted. "Did you pay attention to the timer?" He turned away, "It was still squishy." I called it a day and scooted him out of the house.
