How Remor and Morgo became Best Friends? (Maybe something more)

Remor learns about Morgo

Remor was sleeping for atleast 2 hrs 30 mins peacefully, until he was awoken by a crow cawing at him in front of his face. Remor woke up, slightly annoyed but still, he woked up since he had a very good rest.

Suddenly, he heard a knock from the door of the room. Remor saw it was Morgo, he was holding a medium sized plate full of meat in his hand. Morgo asked him, "Can I come in, Prince Remor?". Remor smiled and said, "Yes, come in Morgo. I just woke up anyway from a good sleep".

Morgo came and sat beside Remor. He handed the plate to Remor, and said "I made some good fresh meat which consists of a child's brain and heart, would you like to eat a bit, and gets some energy? I made this just for you."

Remor was taken aback, and smiled widely. He asked him, "Morgo, how did you understand that I liked eating children's meat, specially their hearts?!", Also thank you very much, I wished I could repay your kindness in anyway".
With that said, Remor gladly took the food which Morgo brought for him, and started eating it quite gracefully. (Since he is a prince, he doesn't eat like crazy in front of other, except when he hunts for children).

Morgo just smiled. He waited for Remor to finish his food, until suddenly a small crow came to Morgo and sat on his arm. Morgo petted the crow and asked him, "So, how you been these days, little fella? I hope your brothers aren't bothering you much, ever since I ordered them, not to bully you, right?".

The small crow gave a playful caw at Morgo and snuggled close to him. Morgo smiled and continued petting him. Remor who saw this while eating, asked him, "Um Morgo, are these crows your servants or pets? if you don't mind me asking".

Morgo chuckled on hearing the word 'servants'. He told Remor, "Well, I won't call them my servants, even though they do help me in lot of ways". "They are more like children to me, whom I care for deeply". Morgo said this, while another raven came and sat on his shoulder.

Remor was confused, and never thought, Morgo would consider these crows as his 'children'. Remor thought, he might have a deep connection with all of them, considering how Remor sees Morgo pets them.

Remor again asked, "Can you tell me, do you live alone in this mansion? I mean, do you have a family?".

Morgo looked at him with surprise, when he heard the word "Family". He sort of zoned out for 2 mins, until Remor got his attention back by waving his hand across his face.

"Morgo? Are you listening to me? What happened? Remor asked.

Morgo who snapped back to reality, and told Remor, "Oh Sorry, I haven't thought about my family for a long long time". Morgo paused and sighed.

Remor waited patiently, trying to understand what does Morgo wants to say about his family.
Morgo said, "My parents died many years ago.... I have been living alone in this mansion for a long time now, ever since their deaths...".

Remor felt sad for Morgo, since he could easily feel Morgo's pain going through his mind.
(Since Remor is able to understand and feed on Children's broken hearts and pain from their trauma, he could easily sense any sort of pain from any creature around him. It's a power of him).

"I am sorry to hear that, Morgo". "I guess you feel lonely here then", Remor asked.
Morgo smiled and said, "No, it's fine. I have gotten used to it...."

Remor wanted to become Morgo's friend, and so he asked him, "Don't you have any friends in your reality?"

Morgo made a sad expression, but still smiled, and said, "Creatures like me live very, very far from this mansion. This reality is literally just a dead place with no signs of life, except scavengers like Crows and Ravens". "In brief, I don't really have that many friends."
