Chapter 7

"Mr. Albedo...?"
I took a quick and little glance to see what was wrong,

"sigh, the other side is blocked away. But, don't worry. I've been to multiple caves before, I'm sure there's an exit."

He said while he placed his hands on the rocks that blocked the other side,

"Should we go deeper?" I asked, "Hmmm... did you bring a pocket watch?" He answered while his head was over his hand,

I nodded and took out the pocket watch. "It's currently 6:45pm."

"That was very reliable of you, Sucrose." Then he locked eyes with me with his crossed arms,

I paused, I didn't know what to say... I felt my face heat up again...It was just a compliment...why is my heart beating so fast? And why do I feel like I carry hundreds of heavy flasks on my chest?

As millions of words rushed into my head for a response,

I finally made up a sentence.
"I—uhh...thank y-you..." I stared at the ground,

"I forgot to bring a pocket watch earlier, good thing you did. Nice work, Sucrose. Keep it up."

My eyes didn't know where to look, I've felt this before. I just...don't remember when...

"A-also, it's a bit cold here. Tell me if you're cold, I may have innovated that coat, but I didn't add heating pads inside. It can also insulate. So please, tell me if you are." He put his hand on my shoulder, rubbed it softly, and smiled.

"Thank you for—...Looking out for me, Mr. Albedo..." I said while I avoided eye contact,

"It's alright, Sucrose." He replied and glanced at my backpack,

"Oh! You have the tools with you! That's very convenient. That reminds me... where's your tent case?" He tilted his head,

I paused,
Where...did I put that thing...?  Hmm...

...oh

"I—...I...I left it at..the...other side..."
I stared into space, completely avoiding Albedo's eyes,

(btw sucrose dosent always adress albedo with a "mr", if she talks about him to another person, theres a very high chance that she will only say albedo's  name. You can observe this in events)

"I'm...I'm so sorry...I really am... I didn't mean to.."
I faced the wall and put on my worried face. I raised my hand and pushed it gently against the pile of rocks that was blocking the other side,

"...Oh? Don't worry, I have my tent. It's alright, Sucrose. We all make mistakes, but there's always that to learn from, Okay? Don't be sad about it."
He suddenly covered my hands against the pile by his and made me lose my grip.

His tone didn't change one bit, he looked...so calm...

"M-mr. Albedo...why...why do you seem calm in this situation? if..if that's okay to ask..."

He tilted his head,

..why does...he looks...very...charming...while tilting his...head..? No! Snap out of it Sucrose!

"As your mentor, It's also my responsibility to set a good example to my students. you're my assistant in this case—not a student—I might worry you if I show you that I'm worried, and I don't want you to worry in any way. But, to be honest, I've been feeling apprehensive from time to time as we explored this cave." 

This sentences he said comforted me...alot...

I just all of a sudden smiled, and I heard loud thumping inside my ears...
