Chapter 1

Sirius made sure that Cyrus was still sitting and coloring before going over to a table.

" Hi I'm Sirius, I'll be your waiter today. What would you like to drink" he said as he pulled out his little notebook from his apron. He wore a white button up shirt and black dress pants. Remus was quickly looking over the menu, before he heard a voice and looked up flashing a warm smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you" he hummed as he thought it over for a brief moment. "Let me get your special breakfast platter, the eggs over easy, and I'd like toast, and sausage links" he mused knowing he would have to list off what options he wanted. His hair was a mess of brown. He was in a graphic tee and a nice pair of jeans. Sirius smiled back and pushed his hair out of his face as he wrote down the order. After Sirius got the order, he went back to the kitchen. The little boy, Cyrus came over to the table and climbed into the bottom across for Remus.

" Why were chu talking to my mommy?" he said as he gave him a small glare that was cute. Remus watched as he walked away for a moment and then turned his attention to the little boy who was making his way towards the table.

"Why was I talking to your mommy? Hmmm well I'm very very hungry and your mommy took my order so I can eat" he chuckled softly as he leaned his head onto his hand as he admired how adorable the child was glaring at him. "My name is Remus, what's yours lil man?" He hummed.

" me Cyrus . Chu can't look or talk to mommy. Chu could be a mean alpha. Me is the only alpha mama needs " Cyrus said as he crossed his arms and pouted as he stared at the man. It didn't take long for Sirius to come back with his drink.

" I'm sorry about him. Sweetie what have I told you about sitting with strangers " he said. Remus chuckled a little as he listened to the small boy, "I see well then I will do my best to respect your orders little alpha" he mused as his eyes flickered over to Sirius.

"Oh he's fine dear, and thank you for the drink" he said flashing a smile. "It was good talking to you Cyrus. I don't want to get you into any trouble" he said softly.

" but he kept looking at chu mommy" Cyrus said as he got down and stood in front of Sirius. Sirius chuckled and ran his fingers through Cyrus' hair.

"It's going to happen, bud. Sorry he's been really protective since he pretended a couple of months ago. Your order should be out soon " he explained. Remus chuckled as he heard him and watched the small body climb out of the booth.

"Its quite alright, its natural for a child to be protective of their parent its rather adorable" he said with a smile. He was about to compliment Sirius though rethought it when he noticed Cyrus still cutely glaring at him. Cyrus yawned and held onto Sirius apron.

" Thanks for being understanding. I have had some people get upset. I'm going to lay him down then I'll be back with your food" he said as he picked up Cyrus .

" no me not sweepy, have to stay out wif chu mommy " he complained Remus nodded a little in understanding,

"Don't worry I know how it is dear, sleep well little guy and don't give your mommy too much trouble" he chuckled as he listened to the boy complain. "You need naps to grow into a big strong alpha" he hummed in hopes to help encourage him to nap.

" me alweady strong. Me need to protect mommy " Cyrus yawned with a pout. Sirius rocked him slightly and gave Remusa smile before bringing Cyrus to the break room and laying him on the couch.

Once he was asleep, he brought Remus his food. Remus chuckled as he watched the two and waited patiently as he pulled out his phone to make sure his job hadn't messaged him. He grinned as the food was set in front of him,
