Life of an Omega

Chapter 2

     In the morning he woke up with a rough yawn and stretched a little, pushing himself up out of bed and tossing on his gym clothes. He trudged out of the house as lazily jogged towards the nearby gym. Sirius made breakfast for Cyrus and himself. He texted Remus ' good morning. Hope you have a good day' he sent. Once they got ready for the day. Sirius decided it was a nice day to take Cyrus to the park.

Remus was finally starting to wake up as he heard his phone ping chuckling softly. 'Morning! And same to you! I'm currently heading to the gym near my house' he sent as he pushed through the doors and began to work through his usual sets.

" We are at the park but it's closer to where I work since it's a better area. Have a good workout" he sent and he put his phone in his pocket. Siriusthen started to push Cyrus on the swings like he wanted.

"Oooo that's always fun I workout at a gym near the area, and thank you have fun with Cyrus " he sent back as he continued his workout routine checking the time every so often. Sirius smiled at the message. They played at the park for a little while. He had enough money to stop by work for food since he got a discount. He noted Cyrus was getting tired. Remus finished up after a while and showered before he got dressed, clad in some casual street wear.

      He headed down the sidewalk and past the place Sirius worked, noticing Cyrus through the window and smiling gently offering a short wave before continuing on. Cyrus waved back before tugging on Sirius' shirt to point out Remus. Cyrus then got down before Sirius could stop him. He left the restaurant to follow Remus. Remus could hear little footsteps behind him after long and turned around to see Cyrus.

"Hey little man where's your mommy?" He asked his brows furrowed as he squatted down to look him in the eyes." inside. Me wanted to see chu " he said shyly.

" Cyrus, you can't just leave without me baby. You could have gotten hurt, " Sirius said soon after Cyrus.

"You wanted to see me?" Remus  mused with a small smile, his brown eyes flicking up to watch as Sirius approached. "It's my fault I waved to him when I passed. I'm sorry " he said softly.

" it's okay. He just took off so suddenly. It made  me think the worst " Sirius sighed softly as he pushed his hair out of his face.

"He said he wanted to see me... would you like for me to walk you both home Cyrus?" Remus asked with a warm smile as he pushed himself up to stand. "You can ride on my shoulders if you'd like" he offered.

'' Yes, Chu can help me pwotect mommy on the way home. Yes! Me would be so tall then" Cyrus said as he lifted his arms up to Remus.

" I understand if you're busy. We'll be okay walking home, " Sirius said.

"Alright little man just hold onto my hair" he chuckled as he leaned down and lifted him up with ease, setting him on his shoulders. "It's not a problem I was about to head home and make dinner. It can wait a little longer unless you'd both like to join me" he asked with a smile. Cyrus giggled as he was lifted into Remus' shoulders.

" yes can we mommy?" Cyrus asked, giving Sirius his puppy dog's eyes.

" if it's okay with you. I guess we can join" he said. Remus chuckled a little and grinned as Sirius agreed.

"Alright well I'll lead the way! Did you have a good day Cyrus?" He asked as he walked along turning the corner as they neared his condo.

" yes mommy took me to the pawk. He didn't have to wowk today. Last night we cuddwed in his nest. It was so cozy. Chu should see it sometime " Cyrus ranked  as he held onto Remus head softly as he yawned.

     Sirius Walked beside them and smiled at Cyrus's rambling before blushing as he mentioned the nest. Cyrus didn't quite understand nesting etiquette quite yet, he didn't know that other alphas shouldn't be around an omegas nest unless invited by the omega.
