wilbur knew he couldn't take to you today...it was too risky even though he wanted to so badly, i mean he has always wanted to.
He wanted to be friends with you and take you in from the start and not from jared or any connection though him, once it's time he may tell you about him giving you the information about jared and how much of a douche he is.
Wilbur watched you for the rest of your shift seeing you moving around sorting out books and everything but he also saw your mood slightly angry and with your mood changing as time went on, he felt slightly bad for you but he wanted you all to himself with Jared out of the picture.
As your shift ended he also started to pack up his stuff too since there's no other reason for him to be outside to see you but he wasn't so careful and didn't see you coming around the corner as he moved.
"Shit- im so sorry" wilbur heard someone say but didn't recognize it straight away.
"It's fine" he said before grabbing his glasses and looking down at you surprised to see you and he gets flustered and freezes up.
"Y-you don't have to say sorry" he said as he gave out a smile, a small one but still a smile as his tone changed from not caring to slightly possessive but trying to hide that he's flustered to see that you even noticed him.
"Okay, but still. You alright?" they asked softly, looking up to Wilbur as he stood up straight.
"Yes, I'm okay," he said, smiling down at him.
"I've seen you around here quite a bit, never said hi though sadly" they said, giving a soft chuckle.
'Their laugh is so...beautiful," Wilbur thought to himself as he looked down at them.
"Really? Well you're saying hi now '' Wilbur said, chuckling along with them as he looked down to him.
"Oh- im y/n by the way" they said to wilbur as they held out their hand and smiled brightly to him since they always were a happy and friendly person,thats what wilbur loved about y/n they were always so kind to people they didn't even know.
"Wilbur" he said grinning down to y/n shaking their hand as he saw their face drop slightly from shock as they heard the name but smiling once again from thinking that 'is this wilbur the same wilbur...it couldn't be right? No no it's fine'.
"Um i have to get home sorry, maybe catch you around?" y/n said as they pulled their hand away and looked up to wilbur.
"Yes, see you later," Wilbur said, grinned down at them as he saw them walk away.
He was blushing hard from even talking to y/n and had to take a while to breath.
"They noticed me, oh they are so perfect, tomorrow! I will talk to them again and maybe even get their number, i mean of course with them knowing, i couldn't just texted them out of nowhere that would be weird and y/n may even find it creepy and i don't want that" wilbur thought to himself as he started to head back home
Once he got home he went onto his computer straight away to see if you were live and you were! He clicked on the stream and noticed you talking about work and other stuff.
"Oh- and i met a nice guy today while working, his name was wilbur and he had really cute glasses" y/n said as they rambled on about today but once wilbur heard his name he started to blush hard and kept watching you.
He noticed in chat that some people were asking about if y/n liked him and he wanted to know if y/n did so he thought to dono.
"Do you like that wilbur guy?" the dono read out as y/n giggled softly
"No no come on i barely know him, but i have seen him at work alot like most days so i may even see him tomorrow" y/n said as they shrugged their shoulders still smiling at the thought of wilbur
He loved listening to y/n talk about wilbur and hear his name being said but he was slightly upset about y/n not saying that they liked wilbur but he kinda understood since they have only talked once.
After talking about wilbur y/n started to play animal crossing as they started to get tried, most of the stream they just rambled on about random stuff and about stuff they will do for upcoming streams.
"But guys it's getting late and i'm tired so i'll end the stream here, i will be streaming not tomorrow but the next day" y/n said into the camera as they ended stream
"Goodnight y/n..." Wilbur said to himself as he opened up y/n camera, turning it on so he could still see them. He had to be smart when hacking into y/n stuff since he didn't want to be caught but thankfully y/n was tried and didn't notice anything different.
Wilbur watched as y/n went to sleep since their computer camera was able to see their whole room so wilbur could see everything.
Tomorrow was going to be fun for wilbur.
