Chapter 3: New Family.

Nothing pretty much happen after that as Taiga and Tetsuya set their separate ways when morning strikes. Tetsuya left the house when morning strikes, not waking Taiga up since it's rude. He took the sleepy Ryouta in his arms and exit the building, leaving a note where all the breakfast he cooked was prepared.

"Kise and Tetsu left!" Daiki jumped in his bed, rocking his body while screaming Tetsuya and Ryouta's name. "Kise and Tetsu left, Kagami!"

"Damnit, Daiki, get off!" Taiga shout as soon as Daiki decided to jump onto his thigh, sitting upright and looking at the pouty Daiki in front of him, he scratched his head in irritation, "Kuroko-sensei must have received a phone call from their landlord."

"They should have wake us up..." Daiki jump off the bed and exit the room without saying anymore.

"You're not the only one who's upset." Taiga mumble before jumping off the bed as well, still scratching his head in process.

"Daiki, what do you want for breakfast?" Taiga call out, making sure that Daiki would hear it, "Daiki?" He call out once again when he didn't hear anything from Daiki.

"Kagami! Tetsu prepared some breakfast!" Daiki jump out of happiness while pulling Taiga to the table. "Tetsu made pancakes!"

Taiga blink his eyes when happiness took over his body, he couldn't help himself but to let out a pit of chuckles, making Daiki to stare at him weirdly.

"Daiki, hurry up and put on your raincoat!" Taiga walk over to see Daiki having problem with his raincoat. "What's wrong now?"

"Why is it yellow?" Daiki lift his raincoat and shove it to Taiga's body. "I want blue!"

"Nonsense, you were the one who said you want yellow since Ryouta had blue!" Taiga push it back, gritting his teeth at the same time.

"Oh.. Did I?" Daiki mumbled to himself and pull back his raincoat, "Then, I don't have a choice but to wear this."

Taiga stare oddly at Daiki's behaviour then let out a sigh, wondering why kids these days are hard to control.

Once he dropped off Daiki in the school, he noticed that Shintaro was the one who welcome them, not Tetsuya. He asked for Tetsuya, resulting for a irritated Shintaro and his weird accent.

"He took a day off today, in fact." Shintaro said, moving aside while Taiga came inside to get shelter from the rain. "Why are you so upset that I'm the one who welcome your son?"

"I'm not upset. Disappointed?" Taiga said flatly.

"Why you..." Shintaro gritted his teeth while clenching his fist, pushing back his glasses up to his nose bridge while responding, "Tetsuya is dating someone,"

Taiga mumbled his curse words, knowing Daiki is still around, "I don't care and I'm not after his ass anyway."

Shintaro looked at his expression then plaster a teasingly smirk towards Taiga, "He's available since that man rejected him awfully."

Taiga widen his eyes upon the change of Shintaro's tone, knowing how pesky and self-centered this man is, he is comforting Taiga with his non-usual accent tone?

"Don't hurt Kuroko or you'll taste the wrath of Akashi." and now Taiga is wondering, who is Akashi? What's his relationship with Tetsuya?

Guarding the school for at least 5 hours and taking a break with the kids, alongside guarding them while taking a break, Taiga found this job more refreshing than putting down fire.

"Hey, hey, Kagami-cchi," He heard Ryouta calling out to him, looking over to him, he saw the spark and excitement within his eyes, "Can Aomine-cchi come with me?"
