Everyone looked over at the doctor as he walked over

"Family of Marionna Marshall."

Metro took a deep breath not knowing what to expect but praying that it wasn't bad

"So she's just in critical condition, as of right now she's sleep under medication we've given her after the surgery. We got the the bullet out it was nearly centimeters away from her heart— but she has to be here for atleast 3 days, visiting hours are over but I'll give you guys a pass. She's in room 223." a wave of relief washing over Metro along with everyone else

he thanked the doctor and they all rushed to the room Marionna was in

Tish walked in first almost instantly breaking down at the sight of her bestfriend, next Savage went in. Everyone went in except for Metro who stood outside the door not knowing how to react

He contemplated if he wanted to go in or not, finally taking a deep breath walking inside the room eyes landing on Marionna making him choke up

She was hooked up to all kinds of machines with tubes down her throat

he just stared at her tearing up not knowing what the hell- there wasn't much he could do. All he could do was wish that they were in opposite positions right now

savage put his hand on his shoulder and shakin his head before clearing his throat

"We gon head back to the hotel, if you need anything lemme know bro i gotchu." metro nodded dappin him up and hugged his siblings along with Stacy

he grabbed a sleeping Marshawn from Tish as she made her way over to beside the bed crying for her bestfriend

Metro pulled up a chair to the bed as everyone left sitting down holdin Marshawn, he stared up Mari until Tish spoke up

"You know she called me upset earlier right?" he looked at her confused before speaking

"why?" She chuckles gently rubbing her bestfriends head

"She was upset about you talking to some girl.. she genuinely likes you metro, she talks about you all the time non-stop. She's called me atleast 15 times while y'all were on this trip on advice for y'all." She smiled shaking her head feeling her eyes burn and start to water again

"She's a sweet girl with pure intentions.. if y'all do get together or whatever the case may be just please don't break her heart."  He sat for a moment thinking before nodding

So that's why she was upset, he thought in his head

that situation wasn't even like that, it was just an old friend he hadn't seen in a while plus she has a boyfriend so nothing was gonna happen either way it went

"but I'm gonna head out, I'll be back here first thing in the morning. If she wakes up or anything update me please." She kisses Marionna's forehead before walking over to metro kissing Marshawn's and patted Metro's shoulder before walking out the room closing the door softly behind her

Leland reached over grabbing Marionna's warm but slight cold hand holding it rubbing his thumb gently on the back of it

" I don't know if you can hear me or not.. but I'm so sorry I swear I am Mari, if we could trade places I promise it would be me in this bed right now instead of you.. I wish I could've just gotten there faster for you." he sighed continuing to talk to her until he had falling asleep
