- "I can't take it anymore, it's been hours!!!"

- "this is our first child, did you expect to give birth in ten minutes? You're playing an obstetrician, did you know it would take time?"

-"Yes, but in an episode you don't stay twenty hours with the same patient, you see the beginning, the middle and the end".

A nurse had entered Maya and Carina's room.

-"How are you?"

-"I'm suffering for nothing" said the desperate Italian.

-"I wouldn't say for nothing," replied her wife.

-"May I?" asked the nurse.

The blonde had looked at her sideways.

-"Yes, go ahead."

The woman had checked the opening of the brunette's collar and the latter had seen her clench her jaw, so she had put her thumb on the back of her hand, to loosen her jaw.

-"you're only two centimetres away".

- "but I've been here for six hours!!!"
Replied the actress, letting her head hang back dramatically.

- "there's nothing she can do?"

-"If we can prevent her heart from racing like it has been. But you can walk a little or play ball."

-"I'm not leaving my wife" said the Italian before another contraction arrived.

-"I'll leave you to it, but if you need anything...
How about you? Are you sure you don't want more painkillers?"

-"Not at all, I want to be fully conscious when my wife gives birth".

-"you have several hours before that happens".

Now it was Carina's turn to glare at her.

"Don't hesitate in any case."

The nurse had exited and the Italian had turned to her wife.

-"Are you going to give this look to everyone who comes in to examine me?"

-"Why in your show do you do everything? It's the third different nurse who comes in and looks at you or touches you between the legs. One wasn't enough?! Can't they send the same one? Do they all want to take advantage or what?"

-"It's a series about an obstetrician... Of course 'I' do everything. But in reality the OB-GYN only comes in at the end, it's the nurses who do everything."

-"They can't do realistic series? It took me more than twenty years to access this part of your body, and now three women have already put their hands on your basket".

- "it's for our child. Besides, it'll keep me awake."

Carina had stepped forward and the blonde had crawled over her bed and the brunette's to come and stand behind her, leaving her leg on her bed, which she had removed from suspension, and pulling her arm out of her sling, so that it wasn't between them.
