Do I look like a fucking dickhead to you?

Henry sat on the floor, blood and fresh bruises on his body, listening for Butch's car to leave. Once he heard it, he got up and covered the bruises simply by putting his shirt back on. 

Henry walked out of the house, instantly getting soaked by the rain. He looked over at the barn to see Poppy and Pumpkin, his pigs, sleeping inside. He smiled and continued to walk.

When it didn't hurt too much to walk after a beating, Henry would often walk to his best friend's house. His best friend always made him feel safe and so very loved.

Henry arrived at Victor's house (or mansion) and rang the doorbell. 

Inside, Vic was reading a book as the doorbell echoed through the house. He rolled his eyes. "It's almost midnight. Who the hell is at my door." Victor thought to himself. 

He ran to the door and opened it to see a bruised up Henry. There was dry blood under his nose, fresh blood dripping from his lip, and more blood slowly making its way down the side of his head. 

"You're spending the night." Victor said, dragging Henry into his house.

"I hoped so." Henry responded,

"Why would I leave you in the cold rain with blood all over your body?" 

"My dad would."

"Do I look like a fucking dickhead to you?" 

The look on Henry's face changed. His eyes softer and his lips, not a smile, but not a frown. Somewhere in the middle. Vic helped Henry clean up and gave him clothes to wear. 

Victor and Henry sat on Victor's bed across from each other. Henry fidgeted with the dusty, old, falling apart bracelet Patrick made him. 

"Are you feeling any better?" Vic asked. Henry glared at him.

"I mean emotionally." 

Henry shook his head--yes then no. 

Victor sighed then spoke up, "What if I invite Reggie and Pat over?"
