losing a parent is gut-wrenching and horrifying for anyone in the world. losing someone who took care of you is a huge heartbreaking experience you couldn't ever imagine. at least for honda who learned that his mother died from childbirth, he couldn't stop blaming himself for that.

he lost the only one who took care of him ever since he was born. he's the reason why edmond is japan's #1 son. now everything is all broken and nothing can be fixed.

his constant screaming and crying about losing his father to cancer broke him completely. he felt so fatherless and left by kazuki whom he needed the most. his memories are now so heartbreaking and gloomy to remember, and all he wanted was for his father to come back and fix the damage of cancer that he would kill it.

turns out that it was too late anyways. it's all now part of the honda heirloom.

honda is so rich that he'll do anything to help his father take the cancer away. but after two weeks of nothing but worsening pain, the surgery was successful in no point of even trying to save kazuki.

he's gone. he's long dead gone to meet the love of his life in the afterlife of what he believed in.

kazuki honda, 1932 to 2000.

a day later after kazuki's death and his son's constant teleportation back and forth to japan to metro city, edmond honda and dhalsim went along with anisk to travel once again to japan to mourn the loss of whom they loved dearly. anisk didn't feel any emotion but did anything he could to correct himself on what he learned when praying on the hinduism way. they say you can't bring a child to a funeral because they'll be very sad. but most children don't feel it. not even kaihi when she was just a child.

she, poison, and arcindina made their way to japan to take their condolences for honda and support him and help out on their therapeutic side of communication. the way anisk did it made kaihi smile. it brought her back to when she did the same in her first-grade book. the corpse of the grandfather whom she loved and visited. but this time in japan, there wasn't any dead body on the coffin. from what she thought.

they lay kazuki to rest, cremating him into ashes. edmond didn't have any words but a single goodbye would help out before even shedding more tears. he lost his father, and now he's not even ready to lose dhalsim or anisk yet. it was all he had left. it's time to pay his respects as he takes the urn to the cemetery and says his one last goodbye.
