Getting over it?

Over the next week you've fully stopped walking home with the squad. Surprisingly you found yourself gravitating more to Bakugo and his group of friends, he thought you were just another side character following Izuku around. When going on one of the training trips you were seated next to Bakugo. You heard the music he listening to and tried making small talk about how you liked that group, but in response you got a small grunt from his end. You brushed it off as him being him until he spoke more about the group. The two of you conversated about the music you both enjoy and other things that weren't totally shit to him. When settling in at the center the class was brought to, you were mainly around Bakugo the whole time being there. Izuku had caught on how distant you've been and even talked to Todoroki about how he felt about it. " I don't think I did anything wrong." Izuku spoke in a low tone with his chin in his hand. "Why do you care so much Midoriya?" Izuku eyes flickered to Todoroki then the floor with his cheeks flushing pink. "No reason really, I just really appreciate our friendship!" He stammered a bit before looking at his friend whose head was tilt. "Do you have feelings towards YN more than friends Midoriya?" He spoke nonchalant to his friend whose face got pinker just mentioning your name. "You know Midoriya you can always just tell YN how you feel." "I know Todoroki but what if she doesn't like me back." His voice got smaller thinking about what it would be like between the two of you if you didn't like him back. "Ask before it's too late Midoriya." He looked at his friend and nodded, he was determined to get you alone and talk to him. 'Alone with me...' he turned bright pink before shaking his head. Getting the thought of you two walking alone in the dark out of his head. He never wanted to be weird around you or any of his girl classmates. When their chat had finished they found their way back to where the class was.

It was around dinner time and the last night of the class being there, everyone had trained hard and was starving. You and Bakugo were talking while making some of the dinner. Izuku would continue to glance at you. Tzuyu caught on a sighed and put a hand on his shoulder. "Yea I miss YN hanging out with us too Midoriya. I wonder what happen that they've become so distant and started hanging with him. *Ribbit*" He flinched then looked her relaxing. "Yea Tzu me too." He looked back over to you laughing with Kirishima getting yelled at by Bakugo, Izuku missed your laughs and the way you smiled when he was around, the way you smiled so sweet whenever you talked about something you were passionate about.
