[Y/n] was staring at the surface, feeling [P/n] head on her tail. The bubble air with her things inside lay on her hands... glaws?

She wanted to stay put and wait for the lightening calm a little.

With that free time, she was expecting her mermaid body. The tattos/scars on her body, don't have scaled covering it, just bare soft skin.

It seems like her body had some weakness in this form too.

[Y/n] through, placing a finger under her chin, she gently pat [P/n] head, seeing the creature lean on her touch.

- "We shouldn't stay in one place for too long."

[Y/n] gently tap [P/n] head, making it yawn, showing his sharp teeth. Pushi herself out of the Sunken ship, [Y/n] look around, feeling [P/n]'s horn tap her shoulder.

Taking it's fin in hand, she start swimming slowly, closer to the sand, wanting to avoid the lightening in the surface. Holding the bubble air in her other arm, [y/n] notice [P/n] following slowly. It's seems tired.

I gave him a small tap on the forehead, careful to not cut myself in his horn.

It's still a long way until liyue.

We made a quick stop after. I was searching for crabs. [P/n] was laying over some a rock, the air bubble under his fin keeping it from going up the surface.

I had another air bubble on hands this time, trapping the crabs inside it.

I don't know if [p/n] could eat ir, but is aw him chasing some crabs when i walked to another island.

Looking over my chest, I saw the crabs trying to get out, only to be pushed into the small vortex again.

Shrug my shoulders and turn back, swimming towards the rock I left [P/n].

He was laying on the sand, almost like he was sleeping. I swim closer to him seeing his chest rise and fall slowly.

Gently shaking his fin, I saw him open eye, focusing it on me. Showing him the bubble, he just sigh, closing his eyes again. I'm starting to get worried.

I gently place my hand on his side, feeling the soft movements of his heart. I felt pity for him... he almost look like a child. I place a hand on my chest looking down at him...

Just do widen my eyes when I didn't felt my own heart beat.

I look down on my chest, seeing the scar where that geo fatui made, exactly where my pulsing heart should be...

Looking back at [P/n], I swim to his other side, and confirming my suspect. He had the same scar I had on my arm made by Scaramouche, but it seems like it was made inside his skin, more likely on his bone...

- "so... if [P/n] dies...

Then I also will?"

Unfortunately, I had to make my own way towards liyue. I place [P/n] inside de air bubble, keep it safe. He was back into his small form.q

I felt like a mother, having to take care of a precious child.... but this time my own life was on the line.

Letting go from the wooden pillar, she fall back on the water and swimming towards the Stone forest, and soon enough was out from the water. Letting her skin dry up, she look at [P/n] sleeping on the sand.

When I was dressing myself, I look around where we were. I saw the Teleport the Traveler use to travel.

I took [P/n] on my arms and place my bag on my back, starting to look for any place to do a small camp. Just to hear a irritating high pich laugh behind me. When I looked back, it was a Electro Cician...

- "Oh, so you're the one Childwas looking for."

She said in a irritating way, summoning those annoying bugs.

- "finally he could praise me for my hard work!"

I felt [P/n] stiff on my arms.
