The realm in between worlds shakes as a group of people tries to navigate through a winding path made of pieces of rocks and dirt. The domain shook again and the group hastened their movements as they felt the presence of chaos spreading quicker than they expected.
"Class Two Cross-World Contact detected – contact is prohibited."
An intimidating figure blocked the path of the group. A girl wrapped in what seemingly looks like red ribbons with her right eye covered by a gold ornament that loops around her body. She has glossy white skin and some parts of her body are replaced by solidified space with stars and galaxies within them. Her smile looks uncanny, her uncovered eye holds no emotion and only promises destruction.
"Even though La Croix sacrificed her life so we could escape, she still survived?!" shouted Alice.
"Her actions were not futile. Hild detects that XX Class Apoptosis Adramelech is highly damaged and can only use 1% of her full power." replied Hild.
"Let's prove that La Croix's sacrifice wasn't in vain!" shouted Luka.
The was no avoiding a fight, as the apoptosis cannot be reasoned with and is hellbent on eliminating the party for traveling through Tartarus and trespassing on a dying world. The party prepared for a fight and casted support skills in preparation.
"Contact is prohibited. Eliminating..."
Adramelech unfurled the ribbons surrounding her and used them to create a strong gust of wind to her enemies, but Luka moved in between and blocked the attack with his shield.
"Sylph!"
The force of the attack flung Luka away but he managed to control the wind around him to avoid falling into the void. He regrouped with the party and defended the party from another gust of wind, this time absorbing the wind from the attack to empower himself.
"Wow! That was a close call! Isn't that right Luka?" said Sylph while floating by Luka.
"Yeah. Thanks for the help Sylph!" Luka replied.
A flash of light took Luka's attention from Sylph. A ball of light was forming in the hands of Adramelech.
"Resistance more than expected level. Casting higher tier spells..."
Noticing the attack Adramelech was charging, the party used multiple abilities in retaliation. Luka infused the winds surrounding him into his sword and his feet, making him move much faster than usual. With a gust of wind, he rushed through all obstacles and pierced through Adramelech.
"Unloading makina weapons..."
"Trial Punisher... Firing!"
A barrage of bullets rained on Adramelech, courtesy of Hild and Promestein unloading the payloads of their makinas. Adramelech was staggered by the rain of bullets and launched the spell without it being fully charged to try to alleviate the pressure.
"Holy light, smite evil and drive away the wicked..."
The ball of light flew high up and began raining down rays of light upon the party. Beams pierced through floating rocks and dirt in the abyss and made cracks in the platform they were standing on.
"Turbulent stream of time, drift towards tranquility and delay their advance! Slow!"
Alice's hands glowed with a mysterious light and slowed down the light rays before they reached the party. With the beams moving slowly, the party was regrouped into an area undamaged by the spell.
"Attack unsuccessful. Using secondary spell immediately..."
Adramelech flew to the black sky and pointed her palm to the party. Floating rocks from around her gravitated into one single point and congregated into a large meteor.
