Luka's eyes opened and he found himself in a place unknown to him. An unpolished wood ceiling and only the most essential and fundamental furniture in the room.
"Gah!"
Luka tried to move his body but in response, a wave of pain passed through his body. He started breathing deeply and slowly to try and calm himself down. With each breath, he found his thoughts emptying, and soothing energy surrounded his body. With a flash of light, the wounds from his body disappeared. He let out a sigh of relief as the pain from his body disappeared into almost nothing. While healing himself, he felt Sylph and Gnome inside him currently sleeping.
"Where am I?"Luka stood up from the bed and observed the room he found himself in. It was a simple room as only the essentials were inside it. His shirt and cape were clean and neatly folded on a table and his sword, shield, and armor were safely tucked away in a corner. While searching the room, he noticed that his whole torso was covered with multiple bandages. As there was no need for it anymore, he meticulously unwrapped the bandages from his body. Each bandage was tidily sorted on the table. He put on his clothes and cape and picked up his sword and armor and placed it temporarily in his inventory.
'Strange. Why does it feel emptier than before?'
He mentally reached inside his inventory and found that only his sword and his armor were inside it.
'Where did all my stuff go?'
As he was thinking about it, the door to the room opened. An old man came inside carrying medical supplies. He noticed Luka was already up and about and noticed the bandages on the table. He quickly tended to Luka and checked for his injuries.
"What are you doing!? You are still injured! You must re-"
His wounds were all gone. There were no signs of injury at all. The man was shocked and checked Luka's body for any injury at all. Seeing there were none, the doctor's face was filled with shock and confusion.
"H-how?"
"Uhh... I just know a bit of recovery magic?" Luka replied with a confused face.
"*Sigh* I see. So you are a hero then?" the man said, sighing in relief.
Luka's eyebrows rose in surprise. How could the man have discovered him being a hero? There were no new heroes ever since Ilias stopped blessing people during baptisms, so the hero class has slowly faded into history.
"How did you know that I was a hero?" asked Luka.
The man looked at him in confusion as if he was asking an obvious question.
"No other person can wield a sword as heavy as yours. We even had to ask two of our guards just to carry it into this room from the forest you fell in! Additionally, you can do advanced healing magic! You surely are blessed by the Chief God!" replied the old man, raising his hands high with his declaration.
Luka's eyes widened in realization. The memories of the previous fight rushed into his mind.
'Father was fighting Adramelech but she suddenly grabbed me with her ribbons! Then she created a massive explosion that knocked me unconscious!'
Luka's head throbbed in pain as more memories rushed in.
'I felt myself falling and falling, falling without end. Then I saw a colorful but chaotic sight and then felt something breaking behind my back. Could I have fallen to another world?'
"Where am I?" asked Luka.
The old man composed himself and cleared his throat.
"You are in a village called Levanne in the glorious kingdom of Lescatie!" the man answered proudly.
