Chapter one

BreeP.O.V

I frown. He smiles. This is an ingoing game of chance. But it ends to night. His smile tells me that before his words. "I love you" he says slowly before I smartly remark by say he is a terrible liar. " You know it is true "he says. " Yeah, yeah, as true as vampires" I state. " Vampires are real" he says swooping me up so he can kiss me. " You know.." I say before he plants his lips " You're right". That's when I bite him. It told you tonight was the last night.

I wake up with the thought that vampires are fake. Of course they are. There is nothing as silly as vampi....."Bree, HALLEE..( I stand corrected )...is here. "Ok Ms. Sister of the year NOT, I'm coming" I yell at Paslee, my little sis. "Shut up" she remarks. I then put on my best motherly mom accent and reply " That's a dirty word darling". Paslee doesn't say anything. I couldn't care less though, I'm going to the beach with Hallee and Cameron. I count to one hundred to make sure Paslee doesn't have anything else to say then I climb out of bed. I throw on a tank top and some jeans and race down the stairs. Even though I'm not hungry I look in the fridge for something so Paslee won't bug me. Mom puts Paslee in charge ( because my mom knows I'll just text Cam and ignore Paslee) and Paslee loves nothing more than to make me sit down and eat breakfast with. You see our dad is God knows where and mom works 24/7, so I'm her only family to bug and spend time with at the house. I pull out some ice and skillfully place my sharpest tooth on the top of the cube. Then I bite into it, cracking it into many pieces. Paslee walks in as I start to leave. Perfect timing, stupid. " Where do you think you're going?" She asks. I generally reply "I ate" holding a small, melting slip of the ice. Then I creep out the door and open the sliding car door to Hallee's Mom's minivan. " Where the heck have you freakin' been" Hallee pouts crossing her arms. " Nice to see you too!" I sweetly remark. Hallee just rolls here eyes and goes back to pouting. Ten minutes later Cameron shows up. Hallee smiles surly and says " Hello, Old buddy old pal". I shake my head and think you say hi to Cameron but yell at you best friend. But instead of bringing attention to that fact I just say " Well nice to see you, Shaggy. I see you remember me Scobby your best friend". Hallee buckles then locks eyes with me giving me a look that says 'you are so rude'. Then Cameron starts explaining her new idea about some spy book called something like espionage in full detail. Gosh, it's gonna be a long ride. 9 hours with Cam and Hallee. What joy!
