"Is it because you..like me?" A marcanne stoy

"Shouldn't this be a GOOD thing?"

Morning rolled around, and Anne woke up, then went upstairs and saw Hop pop in the kitchen as per usual.

"Mornin' Anne. I made one of them 'omelettes' you taught us about. Go ahead and give it a try."
Anne looked at the table, Sprig and Polly were watching her and shaking their heads. Hop pop tried, but failed and the Omelettes were atrocious.

"Uhhhh, I'm gonna goo...see Marcy! Yeah!" Anne then ran out the door to the Fwagon (I REMEMBER THE WORD NOW) and knocked, and was greeted by Marcy, who obviously had just woken up, as their black hair was ruffled and a mess, and they were still wearing their pajamas, a 'roll play' T-shirt with green sweatpants. Marcy's face lit up when they saw Anne.
"Mornin' Anna-Banana! Come on in!" Marcy motioned for Anne to enter, so she did, and saw the usual display of the fwagon, but Marcy's journal was on the table, Anne got a quick glimpse of the drawing inside of it, a picture of Anne, with hearts around it? What does that mean? Anne started to try to get a closer look but Marcy noticed and grabbed her journal.

"Ahahah! You don't wanna see my boring ol' journal do ya? I can tell ya about some stuff though!" Marcy was obviously panicking, and Anne was curious.

"But your art is so nice, I always like seeing it!" Anne smiled at her best friend, she was kinda worried about Marcy, they don't usually panic like this around her, it's usually Sasha who gets them to be this nervous. Then Marcy thought of a good excuse.

"Well uh..I just remembered! I gotta go help Maddie make a potion so uh.. SMOKE BOMB!!" Marcy threw something to the ground that made a little poof of smoke and then they ran away. Conveniently for Anne leaving their journal behind. So she took a peek, and the page Marcy was hiding was certainly shocking to Anne.

'I've been feeling different around Anne. She's just so cool! Ever since she got her slightly new look, she's better than before! I didn't think THE Anna-Banana could get any better! But here we are! Like, she walks straighter, laughs louder, and just seems more CONFIDENT. I'm SO happy for her..my dearest Anne.. wait..I thought I was in love with SASHA! Not Anne! Am I in love with Anne? Oh frog I am!'

As Anne's eyes moved along those words her face heated up. 'Nonono, they ARE in love with Sasha, they are just around me more? Right? Oh frog.. shouldn't this be a GOOD thing?' She thought. And heard a noise so she put the journal down and ran away to go hang out with Sprig and Polly to watch a Suspicion Island.
