As the night grew late, Kim Winter stole a glance at her phone to check the time.

Winter gave a deep sigh as exhaustion washed over her after a long day in the studio. She had just finished shooting her group upcoming comeback song after being away from the music industry for 2 years, and the fatigue was beginning to catch up with her.

Although her music contract still have a few years left to be expired, she decided to take a long break in music industry, which causing her not to join the group schedules as she's very interested in acting. She is still staying within her company and transitioned to an acting contract, captivating audiences with her natural talent. Since then, she has continued to shine brightly in the entertainment industry.

Winter gracefully gave a deep bow to all the staff and directors who had assisted her in the shooting of her group upcoming comeback music video. The staff and directors smiled in response to her politeness as she bid them farewell and she also waved back to her group members as she left the studio, heading to her car.
she decided to come with her own car and didn't want to burden her manager. luckily the manager was okay with that and let her be.
After getting into her car, she took a moment to herself before turning on the engine. Once it was on, she played some music on the radio and began to hum along to the songs, enjoying the peace and quiet of the drive.
As the traffic light turned red, she brought the car to a halt and patiently waited for the signal to switch to green.
Ding!
"huh?"
After a long day at work, her eyes lit up brightly as she checked the notification, feeling overjoyed to see that her favorite webtoon, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, had just updated with a new chapter.
"oh my god.. ORV just updated! i need to see my Kim Dokja quickly!"
With eager anticipation, she immediately clicked on the new chapter of the webtoon and began scrolling down while devouring the fast-paced story.
So engrossed was she in the thrilling tale that she had completely forgotten about the traffic she was stuck in. Fortunately, there were no other cars on the road at that hour.
However, a truck was speeding in the opposite direction, and she squinted her eyes due to the lights.
Her eyes widened as she knows her car will be hit by the truck.
Time flew by so quickly that she didn't have time to get out from her car and the truck eventually crashed into her car, severely damaging it.
"u-ugh.."
Winter groans in terrible pain as the top of her head bleeds severely and she loses feeling in her body. Her car was upside down, and she could see the truck that hit her car got stuck on a large tree.
Ding!
Her gaze went down to her phone. She squinted and failed to see the notification since her vision was too fuzzy.
'what..?'
