Ryujin's POV
I smiled at her as she walked the aisle. She looks majestic wearing the dress that I chose when she asked me what dress would give her the best look. It is the biggest day of her life, and even though we are meters away from each other, I can feel her happiness through the happy tears forming in her feline eyes. The moment our eyes met, I had a flashback of our memories together and the journey of our story.
I started junior high in an all girls school, and that's when I met Yeji when we're in 7th grade. The moment I saw her entering our room, I suddenly thought that I wanted her to be my friend. After class, I saw her at the school gate, pouting while waiting for their driver to fetch her. "She's cute" I thought to myself and I can't explain the feeling but I suddenly felt that I want to take care of this girl even though she looks like she can handle everything by herself.
Months passed by and we're now celebrating our monthsary of friendship, of course we're so young to be a couple nyahahah. Back to the story, the truth is I am not fond of this kind of celebration, but Yeji begged me to do this because she said that I am her only friend that treats her kindly. Yeji grew up in a rich family that led her to have friends only with their connections, and I am just an average person, but it didn't become a hindrance for us to be friends.
As years passed by, we became closer to each other and we became each other's best friends. We knew each other like the back of our hands, but one thing she didn't know is the feelings that I have for her. At first, I didn't give meaning to these feelings because I thought that I just really wanted to take care and protect her.
But soon, I realized that I just can't accept myself being bisexual due to my fear from the reaction of my religious family. Also, I am not sure if she's also into girls and that is the big reason why I hesitate to confess my feelings for her. I don't want us to be in an awkward state that's why I chose not to tell her.
Yeji is the type of person where one second she acts like a 6-year old child but then seconds later, she acts like the most intimidating person you'll ever met, and I love her for that. I don't know why but I really like to tease her every second and every day of my life.
It's just a satisfying feeling when I see her pouting and then seconds later, glaring at me like a light fury hihi. She's so cute when she does that, and for the record, I think that's the reason why I always tease the hell out of her.
Yeji and I were both "study first" and we promised ourselves that we can enter into a romantic relationship when we graduate from senior high. I thought to myself that this is my chance of confessing to her.
Even though it is risky because there's so many possible negative results that might happen, still, I will try it because what if it turns out positive, I will be the happiest woman alive.
After weeks of preparation and having the courage to tell her, we are now sitting in the venue of our senior high graduation while waiting for the program to start.
She asked me to calm myself when she saw my face looking like a corpse because of its pale look. She has no idea that it's not because of our graduation, but because of what I'll be doing after this.
"Yeddeong!" I called her. "After the event, I have to tell you something important, let's meet at the gazebo where we always hang out"
"Really? I also have something important to tell you hihi" she replied smiling at me.
"Ryuddaeng, so after we take our picture with our respective classes, let's meet there all right?"
"Deal!" I replied.
I sat down at the edge of the gazebo while waiting for Yeji. My heart is beating so fast to the point that it might burst and come out of my body but I still try to calm myself from the outside. Minutes later, I see Yeji walking towards me with my classmate Soobin, holding each other's hands.
