When Alex and his sister Britney move to crenshaw heights from vista high, life is a bit different. as his sister struggles to fit in Alex takes to the new environment fairly quickly and even finds love along the way.

as we pulled up I spotted a bunch of kids having fun and talking to their friends, but due to Brittany we were drawing a lot of unnecessary attention from them. As she parked the car I immediately got out ignoring the looks we were getting as Brittany did the same, only difference was she noticed the looks causing me to laugh lightly as she turned and glared playfully.
As we were walking I was hiding my face as Brittany smiled brightly at every other person we passed holding her bags high up "god your embarrassing" I mumbled as we made our way to the school entrance before a boy slapped Brittany's ass causing her to gasp and me to glare lightly at him "hey!" Brittany said offended as I stood by while the boy and his friend looked at the two of us "yo, pop-tart's, yall got any black in you?" he asked as I glared knowing where this was going "no" Brittany said causing him to walk closer to her "you want some?" he asked seductively causing Brittany to back up and bump into another girl as I walked up and pushed him back slightly "hey you got a problem man?" I asked annoyed causing him to smirk "not so bad yourself frosted flake" he said looking me up and down as I grab his shirt collar and pull him down to my height 'damn didn't realize how tall he was' I thought, then again im about Brittany's height "keep your hands off of my sister" I say simply as he nodded and I let him go before he and his friend walked away laughing.
As me and jessie walked away laughing I managed to catch another look at the boy "hey man that girl was nice but her brother?" I said causing jessie to laugh a bit "leave him alone man, he's new. he's got guts though ill give him that" Jessie said as I smiled thinking back to him unaware that I had started to blush at the thought of him.
After we made it inside and got our schedules me and Brittany split up, she had English while I had music class. As I walked into class all the others turned to me including the teacher "ah you must be Alexandria" the teacher said making me cringe back "it's Alex actually" I mumbled causing him to look surprised before a look of understanding flashed in his face and he smiled softly "ah of course my mistake, everyone meet Alex he's a transfer student from Pacific Vista" he informed as a few kids started whispering and laughing causing me to sigh a bit "well Alex, you can sit next to Tyson" he informed as I shrugged and moved to sit by the boy he had mentioned as he leaned over to me "hey there frosted flake" he said as I turn and roll my eyes as I realize it was the boy from earlier "what" I whisper as he smiled at me "so your from pv huh?" he asked as I glared lightly "yeah, what's your point" I asked bitterly as he put his hands up in surrender "nothing, just be careful, all kinds of people who'd wanna be all over someone like you" he said before turning back to the teacher. After a few minutes the teacher assigned everyone an instrument and a music sheet before he got to me "now Alex, ill start you off with an easy piece" he said as I grabbed the electric guitar nearby and started messing with it "I don't think that's necessary sir" I say simply as he looked intrigued "is that so? well then show us what you can do" he said smiling a bit as the other students turned to me smirking as I smiled and started playing
Tyson's pov:
As Alex started playing everyone watched in awe, he was a natural, he was hitting every note and hadn't stuttered on it once. Once he had finished it was silent before I started clapping causing everyone else to start clapping as well. The others might not have noticed but I spotted a bit of blush 'cute' I thought to myself as I found myself smiling at the shorter male.
Alex's pov:
After I finished Tyson started clapping which caused the entire class to start clapping causing me to blush a bit as I looked down and started messing with my sleeve "well Mr.allen I would say you are quite skilled" The teacher complimented as I smiled shyly "thank you sir" I say quietly as he went back to teaching as I me and Tyson moved back to our seats next to each other "hey um, thanks for breaking the silence earlier" I mumbled as he looks over to me with a small smile "no problem baby boy" he said in a flirty voice as I roll my eyes with a small smile before we went back to listening to the teacher 'maybe it wont be so bad here' I thought with a soft smile.
