"Andy!!" The booming voice of his father woke Andy up. "Get your ass down here right now!" His father shouted. Andy didn't know what he was in trouble for and with his father it could be anything. He will just find out about what he was in trouble for. When he came downstairs, he saw his father and just in the face he could tell he was livid. "Andy I'm only going to ask this one time. Why did you damage and leave the car I gave you?"
"It was practically already damaged and I was looking at something else." Andy said.
"What the hell Andy!? You should never take your eyes of the road you could have been killed!" His father said. Andy was surprised. His father never gave him the time of day or showed him that he cared about him.

Andy got into the garage and sat down on a near stool. The words of his father as he took of his belt and began beating him hurt. Sure his father probably was for a long time to be mad at him for something worthy but he would always take it to the extreme. However his soft whimpers caught the attention of John was was silently watching.
"Hey are you okay?" John finally spoke up.
Andy quickly looked up at his possessed car. "Yes why?" Andy asked as his voice broke. He was lying but he wouldn't tell him the truth. Unfortunately for Andy, John already knew the truth.
"Well if everything is okay then why are you crying or at least whimpering?" John asked. Andy didn't know he was crying until he looked in the car mirrors that he was red in the face from crying.
"Oh." Was all that Andy could say. He wasn't okay and probably should just tell him. Tell him about all the false love and abuse his parents put him through over the years. But then again John may not be real and just an imaginary friend from all the stories of others who had the car. Andy was snapped back into reality when he heard the engine of the muscle car come to life. The passenger side door slowly opened. "You want to open up the garage door and both of us drive around town?" John asked to which Andy slowly nodded. Andy got up and opened the large garage door up as John drove himself out. Andy got into the car and they were both off. John seemed to enjoy riding around as his wheels skidded across the road. But Andy was just looking out of the car window.

After a few hours the duo headed back to the garage. John genuinely enjoyed himself as that it was quite awhile since he was in control of himself. On the other hand however, Andy wishes that John and him never come back to this god awful place.
"John do you want to continue to drive because I do." Andy spoke up.
"Why do you ask that?" John asked in an curious tone.
"It's just I really don't want to come back here again." Andy said looking down at the dashboard.
"Andy I know that you need to tell me something so, what is it?" He responded to Andy. Andy didn't respond however as he only continued to stare at the dashboard.
"It's nothing." Andy finally stated. John sighed and drove into the garage and Andy slowly got out of the car.
"Are you sure that it's just nothing?" John asked.
"Yes it's nothing and thanks I quite enjoyed it even if it didn't seem like it." Andy said before he shut the garage door behind him. Yes he did enjoy it but it was more because he was away from his heartless father. He opened the door to his house as if he was going into an monster's den which he technically was.

******

John sat in the garage by himself. A lot of questions were running through his mind to why Andy wanted to continue to drive. He seemed like he didn't want to come home. He didn't know why but he is sure he would find out and also find out where his mother is. Until then he would just sit here and wait like he always does.
