Today I get to shadow the former assistant. I go to the break room to get the notebook I'll be using and the device I have to use in meetings with Mr.Micheal.

This is different, calling the CEO by his actual name, this is my first time ever really meeting him.

"Just take notes in the meeting, plan  events, work along side Mr.Sanchez."

"CEO."

I walk behind her going into a office room, Micheal isn't in here. I guess he runs late to his own meetings the privilege.

I sit in the room with my notepad, I doodle in the corner of the paper waiting. Then someone comes in along with other people, I scribble on the paper then someone sits beside me.

"Nice doodles." I look up seeing Micheal, I place the pen down quickly.

The other business men come in starting up the meeting. I start taking notes down for Micheal as the others talk. Once the meeting is over I stand up waving to the other businessmen.

"Hello I don't think we met."

"She's my new assistant." I look over to Micheal as he's looking at the other man.

"Leilani." I say to him and he shakes my hand.

"Oh that's nice name what is that?"

"I'm Hawaiian." I say to him and he nods his head.

"It's a cool name."

"Thank you."

"Okay so you have a meeting with Chasing company next week on Monday, also Joe Hennessy is hoping to meet on Friday at 2pm." I say to him, he puts his hand in his chin.

"You can go instead."

I raise an eyebrow then he speaks again, while looking to his desk.

"I don't want to go so you can go in my place."

"Wouldn't it be better for you to go so you have a decision."

"Just don't make the decision and come back here and tell me." He smiles while laughing, I bite my lip about to speak again.

"Can I do that?"

"I'm giving you permission." He says to me and I look to the side.

"Thanks."

"So how was your first day so far."

"Well it wasn't too bad."

"Good, I'll give you a break for an hour."

"Oh thank you." I say to him, I tilt my head and go to the door.

"Just so you know you can come in here whenever you want."

I had to bring Princess with me to work, my brother was working so was his wife. But they're both on a work trip, and I couldn't get off.

I walk into the building walking with Princess , she holds my hand with her little book bag out. I walk into the building, I push a door open getting to my desk.

"I have to pee!" She screams out, I pick her up taking her to the bathroom quickly.

As we come out I see my friend, Beverly. I wave to her but it's like she doesn't see me.

"Oh okay." I say to myself, she walks right past me.

She hasn't really spoke to me since I moved up. I didn't really move up this just to see , he hasn't even picked me yet for the assistant even though he wants me to be his.
