As a young child, I was always a star gazer. I loved observing them, and I always wished upon stars. I had always believed that stars looked after us, and guided us. From home to work, or to wherever. They were our protectors, guiding us the right path.
Have you ever looked up at the stars and thought about what they could symbolise? What if stars were just holes where souls just passed through to go into the next life or just an entrance to heaven? What if, when people departure this life, they simply become a star? What if each star is a person and leads to somewhere different?
Just because someone has departure from this life, doesn’t mean that they’re gone for good. They could just be existing as stars. Stars need darkness to shine, and so do we. But every time I look at the night sky filled with stars, I’m reminded of him.
He’s not gone for good. He still exists as my Liam Star.
