I can imagine Eve just being like oh my elder gods upon finding this out. She would probably be like, you know what I'm gonna go with the sane one Fujin.
Also kinda explains why it was so easy for Raiden to fall to darkness. Maybe he and Fujin have the same mother but not father. It would also explain why Fujin says darkness isn't his weakness.
