My thoughts raced through my mind like stormy ocean waters. What?, Who?, Why?, Where? and most importantly, When?. What if it wasn't just a flashback, what if it was a vision. Anayra, the name keeps on popping up like a little boat in my sea storm of thoughts, and every time it drowns itself, it floats back to the surface. Anayra, even if it was somehow in someway a vision, when and how do I meet her.

I was mumbling to myself half asleep when my sea of thoughts were interrupted by Laura pulling the covers away. She pulled up the curtains and pulled away the covers, sunlight pouring in and blinding my eyes. "Laura!." I groaned tiredly, pulling the covers back over my head to shield myself from the blinding light, only for them to be pulled down again. "Come on Anara!, stop being so lazy! We have to go and buy you a brand new pair of glasses to replace the ones you broke yesterday!" She reasoned, I glared at her and summoned up the energy to sit up. "There we go, see that's progress!" She sarcastically cheered, leaving the room for me to get changed. I decided not to make the same mistake I made yesterday, so I came to the conclusion of a half-sleeved, pink embroidered, black top, a pair of jeans and some black, leather moccasins. I brushed my straight, black hair and chose to wear it down. Just as I was about to reach for my glasses, I replayed yesterday's events, remembering that they weren't in the state of being worn.

I entered the living room, greeted with the mouth watering aromas of breakfast. I seated myself at the dining table. Laura joined me after a few minutes, placing two plates of freshly made waffles, dribbled with chocolate syrup, topped off with a few luscious strawberries. The glorious sight was interrupted by Liam jumping onto the table with his pyjamas still on. He stole my fork and took a bite out of Laura's waffles before racing to the bathroom. Laura and I shared confused looks before shrugging and continuing on with our breakfast. Laura chuckled slightly, picking up her fork as I went into the kitchen to get a new one.

We finished breakfast in silence, just as Liam came into the room, wearing a half-tucked-in, white polo shirt with buttons, some undone, others done in the wrong holes with his sage green, explorers' backpack strapped over his back. He wore sage green shorts and his green dinosaur sneakers. Somehow, crumbs from breakfast found its way into his short, curly blonde hair, chocolate syrup smudges near the corners of his mouth. We just stared at him. He gave us a confusing look before becoming self conscious, inspecting himself for anything wrong. We watched eagerly. A few seconds passed by before Laura and I broke into hysterical laughter. Liam glared at us before gaining revenge. Pushing Laura out of her seat onto the ground. "Come on little explorer!, time to get dressed, PROPERLY!" They left laughing, leaving me to pack my satchel.

I walked out of the store, my newly purchased, silver-framed spectacles, perched carefully on top of the bridge of my nose, enabling me to see clearly. "Laura!!!", Liam whined, "Can we go to the museum, please!!!" He continued whining as he begged to go to the museum, looking at his older sister with an adorable stare. "Okay, we'll go to the museum." She replied, looking down at her watch. Liam pumped a fist in the air, making minor, triumphant noises. Laura looked at me, raising an eyebrow. "How about you?" She asked, I was about to tell her that I'll just join them when my stomach grumbled. Laura chuckled, as she pulled out her wallet, handing me a few coins and a twenty dollar note. "Here, Why don't you go and get something to eat. I'll meet you here in half an hour." Saying that she left me, holding Liam's hand, heading towards the museum.

I looked around, wiping the sweat off my face. It was a hot day, so I decided to get some ice cream, but where could I find an ice cream shop? I wandered around a bit before spotting a busy gelato stand. I started to set foot in its direction. Once I got there, I saw that there weren't many flavours left. Just the usual; chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. I started to count my coins, fidgeting with them in my hands. The metal surface of the coin is getting warm in my palm. Suddenly, one of the coins slid out of my grasp, rolling down the streets. I followed the coin into a small shadowy alleyway. Deciding to follow it, I came to a stop, as it rolled to an opening, under a cart, another ice cream stand.
