THE RETURN OF THE NERD

Taste of own medicine

( Two days pass by, Present day: Morning)

( Hoseok's P.O.V.)

I walk inside the conference hall wearing my expensive suit and watch and a ' poker look' plastered on my face.

I see Riya bending over and working on the laptop. I smirk seeing  her. Then with a nonchalant gait. I walk over to my chair and sit down.

After two minutes, everyone starts arriving. They stand at their seats and wait for my permission to settle down. I nod my head.

After everyone settles down , I get a message from Eunwoo on my phone that everything is going well and that I can start now.

I clear my throat and begin to speak

" As you all know the reason why I arranged for this conference meeting. I will waste no more time then. I have been thinking how to increase our profit margin and at the same time make sure that our goodwill remains intact in every situation even in times of crisis. So let look at some slides now. Riya  again login  to the laptop and play the presentation"

" Yes Sir"

Just as she moves to login in to laptop, her elbow hits her vanity bag and the bag hits the floor with a thud and few papers and a bundle of cash scatters out.  I raise my eyebrows at the perfect timing.

One of my employees , Mr. Ahn picks up one of the papers from the ground and gasps in shocks as his eyes trail along the contents of the paper. He gets up hurriedly from his chair.

" S-s-sir this is a confidential document about our company!!!!!!!!!!!"

Another employee , Miss Song picks up the bundle of cash and her eyes bulge out

" American dollars!!!"

Just then the projector flashes on with the footage of Riya stealing money from company lockers, meeting my rival companies' CEOs and forging company cheques.

Everyone tries to process how the projector started on their own. I show a thumbs up to Mrs. Hwang for her good work, and she bows in response.

I smirk in victory as I watch Riya. Shock plastered all over her face. Then she falls at my feet. 

" Sir believe me I did not do such things . I have been set up Sir , please believe me "  Her crocodile tears wet my pants as I overcome the urge to kick her face.

I look down at her with disdain and then signal Mrs. Hwang to play the recordings.

As the recordings start playing, Riya grabs my legs harder. Although I can't see her face now but I can tell that her face is now pale white from shock .

" Sir believe me please. I did nothing. I am innocent."

I grab her hair and force her to stand up

" I am not them who believed you over me. Enough is Enough! End of your games Riya. Not everyone is fooled by you! You are not invincible and you are obviously not the smartest of all. Your dirty deeds end today and forever! I will make sure you receive the worst punishment. And that will be your KARMA!!!!!!!!"

" Exactly Hoseok" Eunwoo enters with police officers.

Riya sees Eunwoo and receives another blow.

" Eunwoo enter  the pen drive"

" Sure Hoseok"

Eunwoo enters the pen drive in the USB port of the laptop. After few seconds, the projector starts projecting everything which had happened with me 10 years ago.

Everyone watches in shock, and when they glance at Riya, they see her with disgust.

Then Suddenly Riya knocks over the laptop

" I WILL NEVER LET YOU WIN JUNG HOSEOK!!!!!!!!!!!!" Her voice venomous

" I HAVE WON RIYA. ATLAST I HAVE WON"

Eunwoo  retrieves the pen drive from the laptop before it hits the ground with a lightening speed. And then he grabs Riya by her arm.  But Riya's bites Eunwoo's hand and tries to run out of the conference hall and then suddenly Jungkook arrives and grabs her hand and twists her hand painfully eliciting a painful cry from Riya.

I get a little surprised to see Jungkook but quickly recover from my initial reaction. Police handcuffs Riya. I walk up to her.

" You snatched everything away from me, you made my friends turn their back at me and then you snatched away my mental peace. And now KARMA will give you the pain you inflicted on me with interests and let me tell you, you vixen that KARMA IS A REAL  BITCH"

" I will receive  my KARMA BUT LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. WERE YOUR FRIENDS SMALL KIDS THAT THEY GOT EASILY SWAYED AWAY BY MY MANIPULATION???"

I clench my jaw at her words. And then signal the police officers  to take her away.

I turn and see Jungkook standing at the doorway. I give him a blank look and walk past him.

( A/N's P.O.V.)

Eunwoo leaves with the police officers to make sure that Riya is strictly investigated and is never given the opportunity to come out of jail even on parole

Meanwhile Namjoon, Jungkook, Taehyung, Yoongi, Jin and Jimin feels even more guilty and regret when they hear about what happened. They regret their stupid choices and blame themselves for being blind and fools
