Normani's POV.
I don't think I'd ever seen a girl so naturally pretty before.
She resembled a porcelain doll to me. Her features were unrealistically perfect it was almost unbelievable. This girl didn't seem to be wearing an ounce of makeup and still looked like a supermodel. I couldn't help but wonder if that was her natural hair too. Her green eyes were so mesmerizing and I almost felt too intimidated to even look into them and speak to her like a normal person with any decent social skills would.
"Hey," said the girl. "Dinah?" she questioned with a tiny smile and offered a delicate hand to my friend to shake. Dinah nodded to confirm that and gently shook her hand, returning the grin.
"That's me. And I'm gonna guess that you're Lauren." Lauren? I thought. Oh. So this wasn't the girl that was soo into Dinah. My bad.
"Yeah, Lauren. It's nice to meet you." Lauren allowed her hand to fall from Dinah's and turned enough to face me now. "And this is Normani." Dinah introduced. "This girl's my ride or die. Literally couldn't live without her."
She gave me a once over and I tried my best to not even shift at the slightest under the scrutiny. I couldn't tell what she was thinking and I felt a little uncomfortable during the brief moment of silence and decided to finally speak up to break it. "I'm Normani."
Really now?
I exhaled a slight laugh and shook Lauren's hand once she offered it to me.
I felt like melting under that gaze. It was those eyes. I couldn't believe that Dinah was able to keep her cool. I was never this nervous when meeting new people. I felt strangely intimidated by the girl and I didn't even know why. She seemed sweet and inviting.
Lauren opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by a loud "DINAHHH!" coming from behind her. In seconds, a beautiful girl with olive skin and beautiful hair just like Lauren's zoomed by and opened up the doorway some more, beaming over at Dinah to greet her. Wow, she was really pretty too.
"Hi. Long time no see." The girl stated calmly now. She wasn't even out of breath after the running and yelling.
"Did you somehow manage to get prettier during the time we had apart?" she asked with a small giggle before she stepped forward to give Dinah a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek. This had to have been Camila.
I took this time to glance over at Lauren who was just smiling towards them with a seemingly adoring expression. My guess was that she was just as amused about this situation as I was.
Interrupting my thoughts, the girl made her way over to me so I could receive a hug also. She even pecked my cheek as well. I was surprised by this but had no problem with it. I could tell already that Camila was the affectionate type.
"And you're Normani." she stated with confidence, pulling back a little bit but holding me out at arms length to look me up and down as well. I simply raised my brows in amusement. "Dinah wasn't lying when she said you had a nice body too! I'm Camila."
I glanced over at Dinah who had her hand covering her mouth to suppress a giggle. Of course she managed to drag me into this.
"Well, thank you. I'm a trained dancer. But Dinah's just that bangin' naturally." I tried my best to put the focus back on her.
Camila shrugged her shoulders, a smile still spread across her plump lips. "I think you're both good looking, absolutely stunning but come on, come inside." She motioned for Dinah and I to step inside and we did so. I took a quick second to look around even though Dinah and I had the exact same floor plan as them, only reversed.
