"Mommy, can we see Daddy now?" Ronnie asked eagerly after the players got their medals and the trophy was lifted, tugging on Lara's hand. She smiled down at him, her heart swelling with love. "Of course, sweetheart. Let's go find your daddy." They made their way down the stairs in middle of the other WAGs and their kids. Once their were on the pitch Ronnie let go of his mothers hand and ran off to his dad. Lara smiled as she also walked into the same direction. "You won, Daddy" said Ronnie who jumped into his dads arms. "Yeah we won" Phil smiled as he kissed his sons cheek and took his medal off and let if fall around Ronnies neck. Since the 4 year old was easily distracted he already ran off with the kids of the other players once his mother was standing next to his father. "Congrats" she hugged her boyfriend "I love you" was the first thing Phil said to her before he lifted her a few centimetres of the ground and kissed her "I love you too and I am very proud of you" Lara smiled as he sat her back down and put an arm around her his waist. They stood there for a moment, basking in the joy and accomplishment of the evening. The stadium lights illuminated their surroundings, casting a magical glow on their intertwined figures. "We did it, Lara," Phil said, his voice filled with a mix of exhilaration and relief. "I couldn't have done it without you and Ronnie by my side." Lara's heart swelled with warmth at his words. "We've always believed in you, Phil. Seeing you reach this milestone fills me with so much happiness. You're an incredible player and an amazing father." Phil pulled her closer, his gaze filled with love and adoration. "You're my rock, Lara. Your support and love mean everything to me. I couldn't ask for a better partner in life." As they stood there, embraced in each other's arms, a wave of gratitude washed over them. They knew the challenges they had overcome as a couple, the sacrifices made to navigate their demanding careers and maintain a strong bond. Through it all, their love had only grown stronger. A tap on Phil's shoulder interrupted their intimate moment. Ronnie stood there, grinning from ear to ear, holding onto the hand of one of the player's children. "Daddy, can we take a picture together?" Phil laughed, his heart melting at the sight of his son. "Of course, little man! Come on, let's capture this moment." Lara stepped back to allow Ronnie to stand beside his father, a proud smile adorning her face. She watched as they posed for the photo, Ronnie proudly wearing his father's medal around his neck. The camera clicked, capturing the love and joy radiating from the trio. After the photo, Ronnie excitedly ran off with his newfound friends, leaving Phil and Lara alone once again. Phil intertwined his fingers with Lara's, their hands fitting together perfectly. "I'm so grateful for our little family," Phil murmured, his eyes filled with tenderness. "Seeing Ronnie's smile and knowing we're in this together, it's everything I've ever wanted." Lara leaned in and kissed Phil softly, the moment filled with an overwhelming sense of contentment. "I feel the same way, Phil. Our love and the bond we share with Ronnie, it's the greatest gift in the world." As the celebrations continued around them, Phil and Lara stood there, cherishing their love and the triumph of the night. The journey they had embarked on, from high school sweethearts to this very moment, had been filled with ups and downs, but their unwavering commitment to each other had brought them here. Later that evening Phil made his way to the locker room with Ronnie on his shoulders. Lara stayed with the WAGs and they were chatting til she got a text from Phil telling her that she should pick up Ronnie, because he is sleepy. She did that and went back to her hotel with Ronnie already asleep in her arms.
