Mentions of drugs and drug dealers and alcholism

It was the night of the full moon rising for the small town in California. Though that sounded insignificant for the population living in this very town, it however didn't pass the radar of skepticism amongst this kind of nuclear family.

Amongst the busy streets of downtown, there was a house that was quite unique and colorful. Light baby blue to be exact. The structure of the house being a wooden exterior type, though when you knock on the wood, it does sound hollow. That's because it was plastered to cover the chipping bricks and wood being the alternate solution to the family's house. The lamp post that decorated the sides of the door looked ancient, the design reminded them of London.

The door to this baby blue wood house was painted in cobalt blue, the doorknob being golden. It was a lovely looking home and yet it littered a 3 people family who had been standing around the front door for god knows how long. The middle aged women who looked to be in her thirties knocks gently one more times. "Mom, at this point you're gonna break Aunt Andrea's door out of frustration." That was commented by a young female, who looked to be in her teen years, her eyes never leaving her nails as she picks on her chipping red painted nails boredly.

"Your aunt Andrea isn't very well versed when it comes to her promises now is she?" Her mother responded amusedly, used to her daughter's favoritism towards the other female. "Well, I can't lie about that but I guess she's busy cooking dinner for all we know." Her daughter shrugs, still picking on her nails. "Besides, isn't this family gathering thing getting too frequent?" She questions her mom as she looks up, seeing eye to eye with her. "What's up with that?" She probes even more, wondering why their frequently need to visit Aunt Andrea. Her mother was slightly taken aback by the question. "I thought you liked being here." She responds in shock.

"It's not that I don't want to be here Mom, it's just that.... It's a back to school night you know? I'm a sophomore kid! Mr.Harris is going to kill me if I end up sleeping in his boring class again." She explains why she questioned herself, though she grumbled slightly at the thought of Mr.Harris giving her extra homework to deal with after her incident back during freshmen year in high school. "Well at least this Mr.Harris guy you're grumbling your hatred about is actually focusing you better in school." Her mother spoke gently in response. Deeply, she noticed her daughters changing behaviour and she's sad that her little girl is growing up but she also has been in this constant anxiety that something might go wrong or maybe something is wrong with her, she just doesn't understand yet.

"Well, how is that supposed to work with the medications I'm on??" She expresses, frustrated over the fact her mother's vague and dense action is slowly driving her mad and irritated her slightly. "You'll get there sweetheart." She could only smile and pat her head slightly before retracting and checking over her watch. 'It's already past 9. Where could they be?'
