Ever since Chaewoo's parents died She had been living with her aunt, who was cruel and mean to her. She never treated Chaewoo nicely or fairly, treating her like a scab and a servant.
It was always Sua her daughter over her! Sua was never nice to her either so, on her 18th birthday Chaewoo decided to move out and leave her aunt's house.
She rented an apartment nine months ago. Taesan and his younger brother Woonhak had moved in a few weeks later. The apartment owner had requested her to let the two boys move in with her because her house was the only one with two different rooms. She didn't like the idea of letting the two guys move in with her but eventually she gave in. Taesan and Woonhak were raised quiet well plus Taesan was her classmate. She was a little annoyed at first because Taesan would wake her up only when he was about about leave to school which was late but she got used it. Once Taesan had even told her that his parents had died in a plane crash and the two had been comforting each other for a while. The next day Chaewoo had left for her part time job at the cafe after school. When she got home late Taesan had inquired why she was late and she had told him about her job. Taesan asked if she could help him get a job at the same cafe and Chaewoo had agreed. So the next few months passed by like that. Woonhak would usually come to the cafe from school and study or sometimes even help with the cafe work where Taesan and Chaewoo worked and they would go home together since the cafe was only 6 blocks aways.

"Chaewoo!" Chaewoo snapped back to reality from her thoughts that took over.
"Chaewoo...what were you imagining in your tiny head? Thinking of ways to get smarter since you're not gifted that way?" Karina asked. "Yes! Atleast am thinking of ways to get smarter and not ways to get guys!" Chaewoo yelled banging her hands on the table while getting up. "What the f**k!! What are you telling ?" Karina asked in her usually annoying voice. Chaewoo just looked at Karina, disgusted and and in a rage, left saying "Use that good for nothing Thinking skill of yours to find out."

It was their break and everyone was crowding in the cafeteria for lunch. Today the meal consisted of Rice, fried chicken, Vegetables and a small bottle of fresh milk. Nina,Jiyoo and Riwoo were sitting waiting for Chaewoo to come in their usual table. "What was all the commotion I hear back in class between you and Karina again?" Riwoo asked interested. "Why are you always so interested in other people's shit Riwoo?" Chaewoo asked him sarcastically. "I don't know, I guess it's just that other people's lives are way more interesting than mine." Riwoo said. "Boring lives for boring people" Jiyoo told him smiling. "Keep making fun of me like that and I-" Riwoo was cut off by Sungho. "Mind if I join?" Sungho asked. Chaewoo almost choked on the rice she was eating which made her look like a complete idiot. Chaewoo had, had a crush on Sungho for a long while now and Riwoo, Jiyoo and Nina knew it so, they started scoffing and glancing at Chaewoo for the 1836372th time.
