My alarm clock sang.
"Tabitha" , mom yelled" breakfast is ready"
I groaned. Everyone knows that school is the devils way of showing his hatred for us. And after breakfast that's where I'm headed. I get up only to see Mayble, my blue heeler puppy, waiting at the bottom of my bed wanting to play.
"Not now Mayble", with that I got up to get ready for school. I brushed my dark brown hair and put it in a messy bun. Then went to my closet and grabbed my dark blue jeans, a pink shirt, my black hoodie, and my light green converse. I walked downstairs and forgot to duck at the short doorframe and hit my head.
"OUCH", that hurt like a bitch. Even with us being werewolves that will leave a bruise. I am the shortest one in the house being 5'5. I quickly ate breakfast and said my goodbyes. I walked to my jeep and hopped in. Starting the jeep I backed out of my driveway and drove to school.

When I got to the school parking lot I saw my best friend Rhyne waiting for me.
"Hey Tabby ,uh, you have something on you're forehead". I could see her holding in her Laughter and glared at her. She busted out laughing at me. Our family's went rouge together so we're not in a pack. The bell rang telling us it's time to experience our own slice of hell. We rushed to the office and grabbed our schedules. We started comparing classes and we have 7 out of 8 classes together.
"Well that's a bummer I was hoping we had the same schedules, but fate must really hate me", Rhyne said. Then we zoomed to home room. The school day went by fast and we wanted to eat out.
"We should go to Burger King", Rhyne said.
"No way, no one likes that place. How about Bills diner." She nods her head in agreement and listens to the radio. Our favorite song "A World Without Fences", off of lady and the tramp 2 comes on and we start singing.

"Far from , here is , where I want to be. Somewhere , out there, loose and running. Nobody's leash to hold me , Nobody's hugs to crush me. Nobody's soap, and scratchy comb to bathe and brush me. Before the song could end we arrive at Bills diner. We stop my jeep, since she left her truck in the school parking lot, and head inside. The waitress took us to our seats and got our drinks. "Hey do you see those guys staring at us over there?" Rhyne asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"Do you think their cute?" She asked starting to blush.
"Oh my god is Rhyne blushing." That just made her blush even more.
We ordered our meals and then paid the bill.
"We should go to the park." I suggested .
"Ok", she replied
We drove to the park and started walking.i looked back and saw the two guys from the diner following us. I decided to let it go it was probably just a coincidence. But something in the pit of my stomach says I was wrong.
