A boy called Mikey Way had just started college. His nervousness made him shake but his excitement was fizzing up inside. When he went to his first class, maths, he was sat next to someone who looked very similar to himself. "Hi! I'm Mikey Way, what's your name?"
"Hi...I'm Gerard Way." Gerard replied.
"No chatting when I'm talking!" Shouted Mr Toro.
After some time, Mikey looked over at Gerard and noticed he had some cuts on his arm. "If you Don't mind me asking, how did you get those cuts on your arm?" Mikey asked in concern. "Oh umm...my cat was scratching me the other day." Gerard panicked. *Bell ring* "See you later Gerard!".
As Gerard was walking to his next class, he bumped into the most beautiful person he had ever seen. "Oh my good I'm so sorry!" Gerard desperately apologised in hope of forgiveness. "Hey, it's ok. My name's Frank, you?"
"Gerard."
"That's a nice name you got there."
"Thanks! Yours too!".
Gerard ran away with his heart beating like a drum. Meanwhile, Mikey was wondering why he and Gerard looked similar and had the same last name. At the end of the day, Mikey rushed to his mum at home and desperately asked her "Mum, do i have a brother? If so, is dad looking after him?". His mum, in shock, replied with "y-yes darling. His name is Gerard. He is two years older than you but had been held back in school.".
Mikey went to sleep later on stunned at this new information. Gerard didn't sleep because he was too busy thinking about Frank. They were both excited to tell eachother their news the next day.
