Ahem.
Haha. Hi? It's been a while? What's that? It's been a year? Oops!
Guys I have no excuses. I wrote 3/4ths of this chapter last August and then started school.
Safe to say, this has been the worst year of my entire life.
TBH I'm very lucky that a tough school year is what I define as "awful"
Look, I get ticked at authors doing this all the time, and look at me, what a hypocrite 😓
Anyways. Chapter. Here. I want to make more this summer, and hopefully, I will. I like writing this stuff, and since I've finished my outline, I'm even more excited to write it. Please enjoy, and take it as an apology.

Previously:
Jinwoo and his party went into a D-rank gate that happened to feature a rare Double Dungeon! Jinwoo and party decide to take the dungeon on, but the raid ends in disaster, with the monsters of the Double Dungeon slaughtering Jinwoo's party mercilessly.
Jinwoo, who lost his leg, was unfortunately left behind as a sacrifice for his party's survival. However, there was a new opportunity presented to him, the System.
Jinwoo accepts the System's offer to become a player, and that is where we, dear readers, find ourselves.
"Gasp!" Jinwoo sat straight up in bed, panting. "W-what?" He clutched his chest, feeling his smooth, unblemished skin underneath his hands. I-I'm alive?! He looked around and was greeted with the drab white walls of a familiar hospital room.
Was it a dream? He thought to himself. Was it all a dream? His head spun.
Click!
The door to his room opened, Jinwoo quickly grounded himself in the moment to appear normal.
"Have you regained consciousness?" A man with slicked-back tawny hair greeted him. He and his partner both filed into the room and sat on the couch across from him, adjusting their suits for comfort.
"Who are you?" Jinwoo asked them. The men glanced at each other, and the one with tawny hair stepped forwards.
"I apologize if we startled you." He began, holding out an identification card for Jinwoo to see.
Jinwoo cautiously accepted the card. "The Hunter's Association Surveillance Team..." he read aloud, his voice trailing off at the end. "Why does the Hunter's Surveillance Team want to talk to me?" He had already concluded that it had something to do with that dungeon, or dream, or whatever it was, but he wanted to hear it from them himself. Mostly because he needed to actually confirm if it happened or not.
The man standing next to him didn't respond for a second. "You've been asleep for three days-" he began, but Jinwoo cut him off.
"Three days?!" Jinwoo interrupted with an exclamation. The man with the tawny hair sat back down on the couch, looking like he expected this.
Jinwoo shook his head, he knew he hadn't confirmed if the dungeon happened yet, but he had to ask—"What happened to Joohee and Mr. Song? Are they safe? Did they make it out alive?"
To his relief (was he really relieved?), the men didn't look at him like he was crazy. The black-haired one didn't meet his eyes, though, and a sad look crossed the other man's face. "They're both safe, but... Mr. Song Chiyul lost an arm, so it looks like he'll have to retire for good, and, well, Ms. Lee Joohee..." He trailed off, looking down. Jinwoo's heart dropped, and he was about to ask what happened when the man continued.
