I stare into the seductive darkness eagerly awaiting the end. I breath heavily and shake awaiting my worst nightmare to begin. As nothing continues to happen I begin to wonder if it comes from some long distance hell or within. Suddenly I see a faint flash of beautiful light in the distance. As I stand in place frozen in shock it comes closer with incredible persistence. It gets ever so closer changing from white to red as I show no resistance. The light stops right in front of me and asks what is it from life that I seek. I stare curiously at the light and say I simply seek to no longer live life as a freak. The light says to me that being unusual is a gift and does not make a person weak. It says to me that in order to truly experience life I must feel pain. It tells me that through the underrated wonder that is pain one has everything to gain. It says I should wash off the reveling evidence with the ever so necessary rain. It tells me all these life changing things as it stares into my eyes. I find this fascinating because the light has no face as if it's just one big disguise. The light tells me if I do these things than I shall surely rise. Something from inside tells me that with the light this topic I should not debate. The light tells me to think about my life and says this is not something you want to recreate. I give my thanks to the ever so wise light and leave to go except my fate.
