Alex glances back at the shocked Issac. How could that Omega thinking, would everything be okay in whatever planet for Alex to meet his friends?! That will only give them more chances to discover the types of things they do together. Besides, an Alpha has no place among a bunch of Omegas and Betas. Alex can actually end up hurting someone at whatever event Issac is speaking about.

After school, Issac is sitting in the front seat of the car next to his Ma. Issac is sitting in the back seat right behind Ma.

"So how was school~!?"

"Fine." Alex answers blankly.

Issac hesitates to speak for a moment, "Mrs. Han?"

"Mm~?"

"Can Alex and I go karaoking tonight with some friends?"

Ma looks over at Alex with a surprise expression. But her face quickly fades to that of satisfaction.

"Of course! Just get home before 11! And drink and smoke responsibly~."

"Aha. I actually don't smoke or drink Mrs. Han.. after all, we're 17, not 21!" Issac laughs lightly.

"Oh, is that so? If you're trying to cover for Alexander, I know he smokes." Ma smiles beams throughout the car. Shining a bright light in both Alex and Issac eyes.

"O- oh well. Is there a specific reason...?" Issac asks.

"Mm? Why not! If I told him no, he'll just do it anyway! Rather, monitor him while he does it."

Issac tilts his head confused. He looks at Alex, who is looking out the window. Silent as always. He hardly speaks any words to Issac unless they're doing something naughty. Issac wants to know more about Alex. What has the dark-haired male been up to all these years? Why go no contact? What happened all those years back in middle school?

The car soon pulled up to the house. Alex is the first to leave the car. And walks into the home without saying a word to Issac or Ma.

"Don't worry, Issac. I'm sure you're going to be the one to finally get him out his shell. He's even going out with friends because of you. It's too early to tell, but thank you, Issac."

Issac stares at the woman and smiles, "Of course."

Issac enters the house. He pauses as he hears two voices in the kitchen. He stays quiet and listens in on who they may be.

"Dad. I don't want to go though..that's the problem..there's going to be a lot of omegas there no doubt."

"Well, nothing has happened so far, right? And your pheromones have been checked. Just leave if things become overwhelming.  As long as there's not alcohol involved, I really want you to go, Alex. You need friends!"

"I have friends."

"Meemaw and her bookclub do not count!"

"What's wrong with wanting to hang around an older generation? She was alive at the end of the war.  It's interesting to know about how Deltas and Gammas were treated during and after the war. "

"That's great, son. I'm happy you're into history, but this is what I'm talking about. A lot of kids your age aren't really...well..."

"It's because of what I am. I have to know. I have to know the history. Everyone should know their history. It hasn't even been that long since the war ended. Meemaw was 12..."

"So much has changed since then! Please just try to make friends....the older you get, the more I worry about what will happen to you if you continue on this path!"

"This is my only path!"

"Alex...?"

Alex turns around to see Issac standing there. Holding his messager bag close to his chest.
