Annie's POV
It's been a few days and I'm not sure why Lily is acting super weird. Like more than normal weird. Everyone knows she has been a clutz but right now every time I see her she is either tripping on air or bumping into someone.
I just finished one of my lectures and the Next class was Lily's class but there was a while before it started. I was checking where we left our last lecture when I heard a scream. Startling me enough to drop my phone.
"What the fuck?!" I said as my hand when to my chest and I looked up. Seeing someone I would never expect to be here.
I wanted to pretend I didn't know her but the way she was looking at me made that hard to achieve. I picked up my dropped phone and realized it was cracked. The screen kept acting weird.
I heard heels clacking and getting closer to me knowing it was her walking close to me. "You owe me a new phone," I said as I looked her in the eyes.
"We need to talk." She said making me shake my head. Thankfully there were only a few students in the class right now. "Class is cancelled for today. Please inform the rest of the students." I said looking at the 5 students that were in the class but there were too starstruck by the idiot next to me.
"For god sake wear your mask and cap," I said as I wrote class cancelled on paper and collected my things. She nodded and did as I told her to. I quickly left the class with her as I passed the class cancelled paper on the glass door.
We left the university and were going to get into her questionable lowkey car. She was about to sit in the back when I pulled out my car keys and gave it to the guy holding the door open for her. "Drive my car an follow us." He looked at her and she just nodded.
"Yes ma'am" he took her car keys from me as she closed the car doors. I got into the driver's seat and she got into the passenger seat.
"You showing up here could mean 2 things. Either someone from the gang is in trouble and they need a lawyer. But if this was the case this someone could have called me themselves. Also our family has better lawyers then me to handle the case and that won't need you to travel across the world. The second case could be the worlds ending." I leaned forward as I said that and looked up at the sky "I don't see the sky falling so I guess the world ain't ending." I said looking at her.
"Do you have to really be this sarcastic?" She asked as I looked in the mirror to see the driver had gotten my car and was waiting behind us. I started driving "Where are you staying?" I asked as I got out of the campus parking lot.
"I found the letter." She said making me confused.
"What letter?" I asked her confused as I drove to the LeMarc's as that's the only place she would stay at if this was a sudden trip.
"The one you left for me 5 years ago. I just found it." She said making me realize what she was talking about. We were at a traffic light so I looked at her to realize she wasn't lying about finding it right now. This means she didn't leave me hanging on purpose. "I want to answer your question right now. Yes, I like you too. Let's date."
Lily POV
We were in one of my commercial law lectures understanding a case study when someone's phone rang out loud.
This made me smile as it was a rule of this class that if your phone rings out loud you got to answer it on speaker. I know the weird rule but it reminded us to make sure our phone is on silent and sometimes it's just fun.
