<Lucy POV>
It's been three days since we have been getting different jobs here and there from different guilds and of course we wore cloaks to hide our identities.
Along the way we didn't forgot to train to improve our magic. We've been training in different spots around fiore. We made it a habit to train for a while after every successful job, and let me tell you that we've been doing many jobs these past three days and you can guess the amount of training done in a short time. Although everything is worth it, Because I get to train my magic. I'm not yet at the level of Erza or Mirajane but it's a work in progress.
Whenever we are training each other me and Natsu always spar bare handed and with magic. Meanwhile happy focused himself in learning transformation magic by reading the contents of a magic book that we bought two days ago. We bought a magic book since really we don't know a thing about transformation magic. Happy was so bent on learning transformation magic so that someday (according to him) he will be useful in situations if needed.
Currently right now me, Natsu and Happy are riding a train on the way to crocus to find us a new job to do. Thanks to my spell (Moon Dragon's Blessing) we aren't having motion sickness right now in which Natsu is greatful for.
"Hey Natsu what kind of job do you think we should do now?" I asked Natsu in which I added "I mean I don't mind anything as long as your ok with it"
"I think we should just go for high paying jobs cause we'll need to save a lot of jewels from now on" Natsu responded to which I agree because since we don't have a guild anymore getting jobs is quite different than it should be. Plus someday we plan to build our own house so there's that
Timeskip 4 days later/Fairy Tail POV 1 day before the trials
It's one day before the long awaited s class trials and those who are a part of the trials can't wait for it to start. Meanwhile rumors of three hooded figures who did a lot of jobs in different parts of fiore spread like wildfire. Although they are somewhat popular in a way, they really avoid getting too much attention.
In a certain table around the guild seated the former team Natsu which is Erza, Gray. Plus Wendy, Juvia, Gajeel, and Levy. They are currently chatting about different topics.
(Oh btw their partners for s class trials are the same as the cannon version)
"Man I'm very nervous for the trials. I mean i am not even that strong" Levy said very worried for herself. Not even a moment to spare Gajeel replied
"Don't belittle yourself shrimp. Besides when you have me as a partner, I'll make you very big" to which Levy replied embarrassed "What does that mean?!" "Geehee. Nothing Shrimp".
Before they can further argue like an old married couple, Wendy asked a question that made everyone on the table stopped what they are doing
"Uh, Guys just getting curious, but where do you think Natsu, Happy, and Lucy currently are?"
(I'm planning to make Wendy and Carla apologize to the trio later on)
After a while of complete a silence around the table someone finally replied.
"Huh?! Why would we care about those traitors?" Gray replied quite angry.
"Hmmp. Those dumbasses can go anywhere for all I care" Gajeel replied with a huff.
"Hah. To be honest I'm quite disappointed in lu-chan. I mean for joining that brute" said Levy a bit saddened and disappointed losing a book buddy.
"No need to be Levy-san. Once I find them I'm gonna kill them!" Juvia replied with a murderous aura around her.
"Calm down Juvia. But yeah that damned fire breath is gonna pay when I find them myself" Gray said to himself rather than for everyone around the table.
Of course Gray already told everyone what happened during the time he was in the infirmary after he woke the night later.
~Flashback~
After Gray woke up the night later on during the incident in the infirmary, everyone are present except Natsu, Lucy, and Happy. Gray is currently going to explain on what happened earlier that resulted to his current situation.
"Natsu happened!" Gray said completely out of the blue with a bit of shouting
"What do you mean my boy" Master Makarov asked
"After a successful Job, I was on the way back to Magnolia but after passing by a forest, he suddenly appeared in front of me out of nowhere. So after I asked him what he was doing there he didn't reply. He just brutally attacked me, of course I tried to defend myself but for some odd reason I can't use my magic at that time. To which resulted in me getting my current injuries."
~End of Flashback~
"Clear yourselves of those memories for now. In the meantime all you should worry about is the s class trials starting tomorrow and lets properly talk about the subject after. Understood?" Erza sternly said with a tone that says 'no arguing'.
Meanwhile, Wendy who is sitting beside Levy is quitely thinking to herself about the incident on how it's suspicious, because it's quite un-Natsu like to do that. So, she is currently having doubts to herself whether what she said before to Natsu was right and justified.
<??? POV>
"Finally our plan is successful. Separating salamander from Fairy Tail was quite easy than I thought, and as a bonus I also got his girlfriend and cat to leave with him. All too perfect" said mysterious figure 1.
"Yeah we're lucky that the magic spell you casted on me last longer than expected or else it is a failure" mysterious figure 2 said beside mysterious figure 1.
"I mean yeah, casting perfect copy on you is the only obvious choice so that you can get into the guild without suspicious and cast magical drain on Natsu himself" mysterious figure 1 replied.
"Seems like you two have forgotten about me. My spell mind bend allow us to convince everyone in the guild on what that bastard Gray is saying to them. Allowing them to completely believe what he is saying is true" mysterious figure 3 said out of nowhere.
"Oh don't worry about that, right?" mysterious figure 1 said while elbowing mysterious figure 2, to which mysterious figure 2 said with a sweatdrop "Y-Yeah! Don't worry too much about it"
mysterious figure 3 sighed and said "Whatever. For now our plan is in motion and we'll be part of it"
mysterious figure 1 and 2 simultaneously said "Yeah!"
