It was a week, still stormy. Paintbrush had nothing else to do but to rot in their bed as time passed. Paintbrush's face was to their phone screen and going through social media.
Their phone vibrated, a notification bubble popped up at the top of their screen. The notification was from Snapchat; showing "marsh 🙀 sent a massge!" along with a little icon.
Paintbrush sat up from their bed and pressed on the bubble, forcing their phone to go on Snap.
